I'm learning to chart and find trends. This is what I tagged OA with on Friday when I felt I was seeing a "W" on $SPY. Not sure if I was accurate in what I was doing or lucky?? Appreciate thoughts.

monthly candles closed today....better than closing at the lows but certainly not all bullish either. Curious to see how we react to mid 450s. Don't think we'll know true direction until then but there is still a bit more room to upside here before we do test
Any pop at the open is right into Model T. It could cook right through it but when you've managed to buy the lows it allows a lot of hedging against a pop and drop.

OK, my opinion for tomorrow with /ES levels.
Some general thoughts:
50K account:
- above 4490: I'm willing to be bullish if ticks are neutral to positive, TRIN is below 1, and the Nasdaq is holding up. VIX should also stay down. We rotated into tech last week, so tech will pull up the S&P. If I see signs of rotation, I think I want to be cautious
- between 4460 and 4490: probably a no touch zone for me, but I may try some scalp shorts and longs between the levels. I think this is actually a bullish scenario provided that after it consolidates it continues higher. I do not have my setup this week with travel and will therefore not attempt to day trade here.
- Below 4460: Need confirmed loss of 4460 area. If so, I want to be short if this happens and will confirm with VIX spiking above 30, ticks having a hard time getting above zero, and fintwit crapping their pants
Some general thoughts:
- This is a big, fast move, which is OK, but we knew we would retrace
- I am still generally bearish biased and will be until we survive some down drafts (hold support).
- I am personally being nimble because of tech earnings. You never know what sets something off

- Booked $800 in profit on COIN short put
- Booked small profit on NVDA. Should have held but I didn't want to see a green trade go red when it got up 20%
- Just wait on DWAC. It shouldn't get to $64, but if it does, well, we will sell calls.
- I don't want to do too much else until tech earnings happen.
- I may do a couple of lotto XSP calls/puts tomorrow if we dip.

I grabbed some SPY puts at the close. We completed what looks like a classic 3 waves up which is typical for 4th waves (we are likely in - corrective 4th up inside of 5 total down waves to 4100 or so).
Bulls are ready and itching but bears clearly want more. While the structure looks like it needs one more down so the bears can set aside the rest of the year, past corrections have shown us that the bulls usually get ahead and themselves and melt things up. Tomorrow morning should tell us exactly what the next move is.

Good play there. Even if we don't get a pullback tomorrow, we'll get one sometime this week. There's enough fear I'm the market that a little pullback will make those put premiums jump.
