Its hard to think you can make money trading above and beyond the ~10% historical returns that the market "allows" us to.

He hasn't said anything that we didn't already know... but just an excuse to take out retail again.

There were multiple sectors with plenty of downside on the table. And the ones that had good looking bottoms could just as easily go flat while the others catch up.

The FED didn't do anything. Sentiment did. And the bears caught all of you in a classic fake out.

The market rallied in December after the FED announced rate hikes.

If the market reacted to the FED that wouldn't make sense. The FED reacts to the market. Always has.

Moving on, I'm texting with a guy that telling me his broker is telling him T is going to $10. I told him to tell his broker, when it gets to $10 buy every share - all of it. Because, with earnings per share at $3, he'll own the company in 3 years and a few months. Told him find a new broker.

I am taking a SPY C scalp here.

For a long position (like, you know, overnight), I am going to wait until volatility and premiums come down. You can make a decent bet with options and have even overnight decay and a drop in volatility suck the life out of it.
