Friend of mine who was a very successful wealth manager for 30+ years sent me a 'get out' text tonight. The algos he uses aren't perfect but have avoided market events such as March 2020, 2008 and many others. He is switching gears and focusing on wealth preservation. Hasn't always been right but more often than not.
I suspect he'll be in cash and take some short positions if I was a betting man.

My Feb02VIX$21P filled when it was over $37. I got some SPX, SPY, and SHOP flies and spreads for Wed and Fri for me to work. Trying to fill SPOT put spread for Mar to play BearSpine short recs.

Doesn't look like bottom is in before the relief rally. Maybe next levels down SPY 423 and QQQ 338 would do it. Maybe tomorrow morning.
I've been sitting in mainly bonds in my 401K for a little while now. I'll start layering back in 10% at a time on this bigger drops
