As a person who has sadly lost all of my post covid gains X2 trying to learn options... I would highly recommend coming up with a number to play options with... then taking about 10% of that a depositing it to learn.

So... hey! I can do a 10K account.

Put in 1K and use that for a while.

Unless you're a savant, options will rip your face off over and over again.

But they are also awesome.

The FDA is due to release its findings on the citizens petition against SAVA by the short sellers by the end of next week.

Barring some unforeseen delay, by next Friday either the FDA will agree with the complaint and halt all Cassava work, or it will dismiss it and reiterate support for their phase 3 trials (which are already enrolling patients).

It really is the mother of all lottos at this point. If they get shut down then SAVA's headed for the teens, maybe single digits.

If the FDA rejects the petition, SAVA's going to run (my guess is $100 conservatively).

Play accordingly.

Already had a long hold position but added some I wouldn't mind just trading given the 52-wk low it just hit

It's very tradable, the CEO is brilliant and demand/markup for used cars is great.

I like to go perma bear as much as anyone here, but I think this is the real deal. I think tomorrow will just be a small pullback for a nice re-entry.
ES is flirting with 4705, should be good resistance there, then we pullback a little, consolidate, continue to run higher soon.

Aren't we just a few weeks from a SAVA FDA decision? At this point, I think it's a bigger risk to take the small profits than to let it ride.

That is, still sell 5% every time you earn 10%. If you're just up a few, I'd just let it ride to the moon or 39.

One caution - that short selling crew has filed four amendments to their original filing, the last dated in December 8.

I don't know if that resets the date on them to issue a disposition.

Second edit - the timeline I saw on this is incorrect. The original petition is dated 8/22/21. The FDA per its own procedures will provide an initial finding 150-180 days after the petition. So this puts the window at 1/22 at the earliest, 2/22 at the latest.
