I don't claim to be a wash sale expert by any means, but the things that I see on 1099s that qualify as a wash sale baffle me sometimes. So if you think there's a chance it could be subject to wash sale rules, it probably is.

I've done the scenario above. I sell ITM puts over a month out. I then sell the stock. My broker doesn't consider it a wash sale. I've heard different from somebody that posted tax rules on here about a month ago. I'm going to try it and see what happens.

Seriously though, ATP is working fine today. Had some issues last week but those seem to be worked out.

More wash sale questions. I have WWR I want to sell for loss for tax purposes. I have Feb. puts I sold that are likely to be exercised. If I sell some of my WWR, but not all and keep the puts, can I still claim tax loss or do I need to completely exit? I couldn't figure it out from google.
Man HOOD is just being held down underwater at this point. Two weeks of consolidation.

Might be a personal failing on my part, but I have blind faith in OA1. He bought more shares at 2.5 and reiterated his price target of 20. I'm holding out.
I'm the same and fighting the urge to average down and buy the dip.
