If you own put options on stocks of a company that has just declared or filed for bankruptcy, you are in for a huge reward. The delivery and settlement of every stock option is guaranteed by the Options Clearing Corporation. Whoever sold you that right to sell shares of that company at that higher price is obligated to fulfill that obligation, so your profit is guaranteed.

We do a pretty good job keeping politics out of this thread, F16 is the olace to go to vent your frustration on the moron representing the other team. Sometimes it gets heated and insults get personal. Covid has ratcheted this anger by many magnitudes and it finds its way onto other boards.

Well, OMGicron is being reported as milder from both SA and Israel. Seems like the one to get if we're shopping for covid strains.

I agree. But I read a story with the lead South African doctor on covid. he says it's been around since mid-summer. They can isolate via blood tests, there's no rapid test or anything for strains.
He seemed annoyed by the recent panic more than anything, said it's the mildest strain of covid yet, those that are hospitalized are staying shorter and recovering quicker.
I think the worldwide coordinated government panic over it in the last week is bull****, but that's for another thread.
