I know these usually pay off. I'll try to remember to post the $MM+ flows when I see them.

Just don't get greedy with these if you take them people. You can usually get a 20-25% on the day. I'd advise not carrying runners with these plays unless they're net free. It is hard to see if the buyer sold them depending on the daily volume and not being able to see the OI until the next trading day

Bought these in a PDT account so can't close them until tomorrow.......but I'm thinking I may hold them for more than a day.

Possible buy/write candidate here....

Bought at $1.24 and selling 12/10 $1.50s at .25.

Out for $1.75 vs. $1.24 cost or net cost of $0.99 if not called away.

PS - Share price is $1.31 now so .07 higher than my entry but still a buy/write candidate IMO.

NVNXF is what we can expect from WWR when they ribbon cut their new graphite factory. Granholm was at WH today pumping this EV supply chain network that will have $8B earmarked. Pretty good tailwind for WWR to have both market factors and gov cash greasing skids of future battery demand.

Not a play for everyone and for me just a possible trade.

Strictly looking at TA, consolidation (Darvas Box), volume (11/17 & 11/22) , major support SR levels, ridiculous IV giving a RR of 1/5.

If it dumps below .90 in the next 2 weeks....ish then my 'bet' is blown. But, I suspect the suit is baked in and reason for the initial dump.

We shall see.....

That's exciting and all, but also at the same time pretty concerning for WWR. Seems like direct competition that is beating WWR to the punch of being a graphite provider in the US (while being up 250% in the past 4mo…).

Yeah, I thought same thing at first, but considering the EV demand and capital slushing around, I see a buyout of WWR more probable.

If Novonix wanted to buy more proprietary graphite production they could buy WWR for a cool $1B or $30 a share.

NOVONIX's anode materials business is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where it is increasing capacity to produce 10,000 metric tons per year of synthetic graphite by 2023. The investment by Phillips 66 will support a capacity expansion of an additional 30,000 mt/year, which is expected to be completed by 2025.

By comparison, WWR is slated for 7500 mt in phase I and 15,000 mt/year in Phase II.

One more night I can sleep tight before it closes below another $ mark. I'm bleeding like a stuck pig. Get so pumped when good news comes out only to see it drop another $ 2 weeks later.

I'm still a believer but it's getting very hard to stay. Down 40% and not sure where the end in sight is. Almost need no need cause it's better than good news for WWR

Wait PSX has a 16% share of WWR?? I know they own a lot of NVNFX but didn't know about WWR investment.

No no! Sorry for the confusion, Phillips has a stake in Novonix but nothing in WWR to my knowledge.

Editing to clarify that.

Another interesting note is that NOVONIX is make synthetic graphite. WWR is natural graphite. Correct me if I'm wrong, but natural graphite flake is preferred over synthetic for battery anode material.

Looking at the chart on NVNXF, make me hope the same kind of move is headed WWR's way in the near future.

Ok sweet lol thought so. I was impressed by PSX. They never seemed to get innovative. I used to work there and they were far behind there. They started a new team a couple years ago and started investing in these types of companies. One reason my faith in starting to invest in them again . I think you see more majors get heavily involved in this space. Won't be shocked to see them sprinkle their bets all over the mining industry now. Imagine controlling a piece of everts upply chain for EVs within the US. Spend a couple billion each year investing in t he future and you could be THE juggernaut in the EV/battery market. You could corner the market.
