CLOV...

on the daily chart the 8 and 21 EMA are equal at 7.90. The last 3 times it's crossed to a bullish setup here it's had a decent spike when volume came in.

Crossed on June 3 and ran to $28 when it got caught up in the WSB stuff.

Crossed on Aug 31 and ran to $11 on Sep 7.

Buy the 145 and then sell the 150.

Lowers your cost of the option but caps your max profit at $500 per contract.

I got one for .86

I bought a crwd 272.5 for next week, feels like someone is trying to keep it down through today's expiration after this week's partnership news and subsequent rip

Also bought some more of those wwr nov 5c (.08). Thinking about some 280/300 dec spreads for ~$7 but might just be patient and see if i can get a better entry on straight calls

I'm using CLOV as my lotto today. Walmart announcement yesterday. We'll see if some volume comes in this afternoon or if they hold it down under 8 for close.

Anyone loading on PHUN? It is up 9% for the day and crossed the 21 and 50 today and broke the recent down trend. Volume is above its average as well.

I can't remember who was following this stock with me, but I exited today after reading this. They hedged 80% of their natural gas sales over the summer and are now trying to unwind those hedges at these much higher prices. Bloomberg estimates they will miss out on $5B in revenue next year due to their hedges (their market cap is $7.8B)


"EQT Corp. is unwinding natural gas hedges that its top executive said were "obviously" a bad idea....Obviously, we were wrong," Rice said.

In the event someone lurking is still learning spreads, here's one of my plays that will expire in a few hours....



Notice I bought 110c AMD, and sold 112c AMD and at that time it cost around $1.11-$.49 = $.62....

The 110C is now basically trading equal to the equity.....the 112c is getting closer as time ticks away.

If the equity were to shoot way past 112 you'd have two of these trading even with the equity, creating a $2 spread. If it doesn't, then as you get closer to expiration, the short call would expire worthless, and the long call may or may not have value depending on the price that it closes at.

I have a limit sell in at $1.99 as my IRA doesn't allow me to carry an actionable spread into close......I'll sell these before the clock ticks to 0.
