There are big gaps to fill down for AFRM. I imagine if AMZN goes on to crap the bed, there will be some money to be made there….

This market today is just delightful. Maybe all our doomsday talk in the last 24 hrs got the market spooked.

I think we see a choppy week until Friday's job report. Then we see if the bull market continues or if we're officially in a bear market. We got warnings in September with SPX making lower lows and lower highs than in August.

So looking ahead with end of year coming, what's your tax strategy? Should we be looking to sell off the losers and take those losses to offset some gains?

I know this feels rookieish and obvious, but just trying to take the down time to plan with three months to go. Is there a best or worst time to close out losers near end of year (i.e., everyone dumps last losers last two weeks of year, so sell ahead of that)?

It's riding its downtrend line on the daily.

Until some catalyst comes on, could continue to ride that down. Got some support zones at 39ish and 31ish.

My general thoughts on SAVA is they need to hire a PR team! They have the first AD drug to ever show improved cognition after 12-months of treatment and the stock has barely moved. Should be at ATHs.

I believe their AD drug is promising and I'm still long SAVA. I haven't sold any shares. I think the road will be bumpy but will ultimately payoff in the end. This stock has been great for selling covered calls against because of its volatility. Premiums are juiced.

Still expecting a few announcements before year end that could send the stock price higher:
1) Either a partnership or new grant announcement (Remi hinted at this in July)
3) Announcement of the start of Phase 3 clinicals
4) Possible FDA response to the citizens petition

Phase 3 clinical trials are going to be long. The expected completion date is October 2023. No telling what happens between now and then but I'm going along for the ride and will hopefully have a few hundred shares net free after selling monthly CCs against them.

Thank God my 2000 share purchase didn't go through this morning. Set the limit 1.70 and saw it trading at 1.90 and decided not to follow so I cancelled it. Wish that decision would show up on paper somehow.

Sell some losers now and have plenty of time to buy back 30 days+?
