All I look for on VIX puts is singles, doubles and triples. Not trying for home runs with these puts.

I shoot 20-30%+ scalps and usually intraday.

As of now up 10% on this buy.

Trimmed some here at 20%.

Makes sense. And based on what happened immediately after that backtest, this would have been a great trade. Hope you were able to capitalize on it!

Getting close to going flat on expiring calls. Been scalping SPY for singles and doubles so usually try and go flat by 1-1:30 EST as premium gets crushed from here.

NIO lottos didn't work so will just let those go to zero.

TTD is still below the 200DEMA. It's been unable to reclaim it the last three days. If the market continues to downtrend it's got more to fall.

This has been a lot of fun today. 433C

The red box has been good for 15-30% trades non stop. They are quick usually 3-10 minutes and you just have to take your $.

The yellow box is now a 60% trade.

50% retrace from that to the high is $1.55. If it dips below its low of the day so far at $1.56 then the 61% retrace (most common spot) is $1.35 and happens to line up with the 161% level from the top yesterday to the bottom of the "a" wave ($1.75). Also, 200% extension for the c wave down would land it at $1.28.

FJ after pages and pages of reading your posts im getting the first inkling on playing your game.

35% gain on 428 puts and then flipped it to the 430 Call. Probably exited a little early here but I'm not in a place to monitor closely the rest of the day.

Fun application of the lesson.

Can be tricky and tough trading right now. I had a rough couple of weeks with crap discipline. These last few weeks have been sporty.

Went back to blocking and tackling. For me anyway its all about capital preservation and locking in gains. Take as many 15, 20, 40, 60% gains as I can and cut losers quick. Just buy back for crying out loud if I took a small L.

If I could make 20-30% on every trade and make my normal number trades a week, I would have to usurp 30k and change my handle to $30,000 Billionaire.

But that I am not....

I know you're a wave disciple and know it well. That stuff is all above my pay grade.

While I check RSI, MACD, ATR, etc., etc. I keep it pretty simple.

I just trade SR levels, price and volume. I use Fibs when I want cliff notes in a hurry or a bench check of sorts.
