I'm hoping for Q4 most definitely. But timing is impossible to gauge, and I don't like to get hopes up. Plus, I'm thinking we might have a sizeable shakedown similar to March 2021 in March 2022.. so a new all time high in AMD with a retracement to follow would line up with the overall action in the markets.

Just took another hard look at AMD. I could actually make the case for a new high around the $126 level between Sep and Oct OPEX's. But we need to keep confirming upward and stop this sideways *****

About to go reckless abandon on calls/spreads for next week
Edit: 70/75s for .29, then some 55/57 for today for a nickel just for fun. I think the reversal is gonna be intense

Thinking about selling all of my pltr shares for a small loss (in at 28.5 average) to buy 100 shares of sava down here. Just having a hard time pulling the trigger because I believe in Pltr long term, but sava is attractive at these levels. Worth it, or hold onto pltr?

Have 2K shares of $PROG at 67 cents.

Should I sell them for the 70% gain, sell 10 calls at .25 cents (out to Jan), or just sit on them. No money in them really just curious on this one for future learnings.

Tough call, but if you think $SAVA has the potential for higher returns maybe pick some up. Can you sell half your $PLTR and then start a position in $SAVA that way you're in both names?

Or, maybe you can sell half your $PLTR shares and then sell covered calls on your remaining half to buy $SAVA shares. That way you're in both names too.

I'm out of SAVA stock for now. That SUCKED. I don't have options privileges so I can't make money on these bloody days.

I'll be keeping an eye on it (actually, I'll keep an eye on y'all keeping an eye on it) and jump back in if there's a reversal.

"Underwhelming" is an understatement for the Cassava response today.

You could sell what you need to in order to go net free. Think this probably gets back to 1.55 resistance at some point.

Not a lot of premium in selling covered calls unless you want to sell far out dated.

Thanks.

The one thing I need to read more on his how to time option premiums for covered calls. I get the green vs red, but I hate selling them on an up day when the next day it takes off and my premium looks like dog crap in a heartbeat.

Trying to learn patience and do a better job on timing the sell on covered calls.

Yes I had a GTF order for $0.30 to get me net free and it filled. Maybe it was just someone making a mistake or something. I'd feel bad, but the good Lord knows I've done something similar when I was trying to put in a sell order and bought to open.

I actually decided to pass on this. Jan '22 expiration is less than 5 months away. Jan '23 180/210 are 4.8 to make 3k. Worth it to buy another year...fda stuff takes forever
