He was really coarse on me to start but he's grown on me kind of like a hemorrhoid. I like him now when he's not flaring.

Friday Lotto Day

I will do my best for lotto day tomorrow but I have a breakfast meeting then a visitor to the house just after that. Might be a little sporty for me tomorrow but will give it a whirl.

Nope unfortunately took them off. They are $$$ about now. Hope you guys do though.


I did not. Missed initial entry timing bc of work. Kept eye on it couple days and even looked at further dated calls when it dropped. Small account and being extra cautious these days so sat on hands. Bought VIX call instead which paid well yesterday but nowhere what MSFT would have.
Thats the 3rd move this week i didnt trust myself to do and woulda paid off

With the mean at 362.5 I was looking at 360, 365, or 370 calls for 8/27 or 9/3. Keep in mind that earnings are on 8/30

I haven't used it but have a friend who trades with it. There's a bit more to it (time continuity is a big one), but basically you use a 2 candle pattern to predict the 3rd. It gives you entry and exit target prices. So look at 2 previous days to plan a day trade on the 3rd or 2 previous weeks to plan a weekly trade.

IMO don't waste your time. That crew is obsessed with it, but if it were the balls to the wall nails that they preach, they'd just trade futures and never lose a dime.

Maybe it's just beyond my understanding.

I should rephrase this, because some of it is helpful.

Don't live and die by it, but when you learn about inside candles, outside candles and then continuation candles..........these things can help your trading.

So with the bullish close (I was a hog today and got slaughtered out of some small profits) is this the next melt up?

Fed tapering is going to start to get priced in now in my opinion.

just my two cents. tomorrow is not really a countable day because of OPEX. it's about max pain. I think we will get some downside action after that, and I think the market will not dramatically melt up yet. Probably the weekly 21 as a target. I am obviously very open to being wrong.

Just me but if you are crossing 100% return on a scalp I'm taking at least half off the table and trailing the rest with a decently wide trailing stop. That's an awesome trade every single day.

I personally determine my entry and exit based on SR levels, volume associated and EMA trend. Important to know where support and resistance are for entry and exit.

Have y'all ever played IWM as a lotto? I am finding it intriguing as it is approaching the 200ema, and hasn't fallen beneath that ema since sept of 2020. I am eyeing $215 calls. Not near my laptop at the moment, but I am seeing rough Support at around 210.5ish, and rough resistance right around $214. Would love to get others thoughts on this, as I also know it's not smart to trade against the trend, and the past 5 days or so IWM has been falling.

30k was the IWM master today and crushed it scalping. Maybe he can chime in as I think it's his target again for tomorrow.
