Almost everything in growth has fallen off a cliff after earnings.
Yesterday and today has brought me back to January levels on my account, obviously I still have a lot to learn.
Main fault was getting too exposed in BFT / now PSFE.

It's a pretty big tell that we are now seeing weakness around lunch time as Europe closes and into the afternoon. It was there yesterday, even more so today. Previous days/weeks we have seen recovery from the morning session into the afternoon. Now there is just no bid out there.
I am 100% cash in my trading account currently. I've learned I'm not good at trading in an environment like this so I'm just sitting back and watching and will trade again when the environment stabilizes. I thought we might get one more squeeze ahead of OPEX and into the Jackson Hole conference but doesn't appear to be so. I think things will be rocky the rest of this month and heading into September. That was always the plan but I don't think we see good upwards action in many names until later in the fall. Not calling for a crash/correction, just a lot of chop and slow bleeds for the next good bit. Not unexpected after we hit 100% from March 2020 lows....
Just don't overtrade and kill your account and/or gains right now. I have a problem of wanting to trade every day...its a lot wiser to take your gains and enjoy it and sit out and watch others bleed. Something I'm still learning.

Sure but their move has been bigger tu at the macro market so I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Sounds like I'm not.

Hard to tell but I really don't think the Fed is going to allow for a correction. Much of this market is being propped up. I start thinking today is the start to a correction then tomorrow ends up at a new ATH. Who knows these days.
Anyone looking at SKLZ? I bought some at 10.60...think it's at about 52 week low, but I'm a pro at catching falling knives. Also looking at adding some REI

$PROG also woke up today, along with $ELOX.
Depends on how you want to define correction.
Back in March the market dropped 7%. If you apply that to SPY's high yesterday, it'd take us down to 417 area.
/ES would be down to 4162ish.

So far all SPY has done is almost touch the 21EMA which is about 440.35...ish, which is also the ATR mean.SF2004 said:

The 50EMA is down around 433.50...ish and would also signal multiple long term trend breaks.

I exited SPY at $423 back in June, or before, waiting on a correction. Left a lot on the table since. If a correction happens, the closer to $423 we get the better I'll feel. That's just me..SF2004 said:

AAPL with a double bottom on the 5 min. But has to re earn the 150 level. Looks like it's fighting for it
In APPL and just entered MSFT 295C at 1.07.
Watching to see if these lead here.
I took my profits earlier on some 9/14 calls. The only highlight of my day!

In my opinion yes. Company and leadership are very connected and have many government contracts. Sidenote, In early July, Planatir lost a leader, Justin Joseph, to Clover Health Investments (CLOV). Joseph has deep government connections. FWIW
