Moderna was a crappy company in the biotech world prior to COVID. Already considered overvalued in Jan 2020. I'm pretty sure they were heavily shorted prior to any of the vaccine stuff. There was a feeling that the prior administration was giving them a lifeline by making them one of the heavy COVID vaccine players. Credit to them they delivered, but I'm sure those pre-Jan2020 feelings haven't gone away among a group of investors. Maybe they are right, maybe they turn into the next TSLAQ group. We shall see

I heard they never got through a Phase 3 on.. anything prior to the emergency use FDA approval. Is that true?

Looks true.. here's their pipeline. Nothing to Phase 3 yet, and they don't even list the COVID vax as emergency use. Very misleading.

I may be incorrect but I'm pretty sure they had no FDA approved product (and technically still don't) prior to the COVID vaccine. Everything from them was still in development and they IPOd with billions in valuation for a company that didn't have a product

Correct. Even the COVID vax looks like it never even got through Phase 2 prior to emergency approval.

Looks to have hit a low at $104.36 after it's huge run. Possibly gearing up for another mini run here. I'm looking for confirmation above $108.5. If we get it, I think the runway is clear for $110 first, then $115ish, with $125 as a very real possibility.

I jumped in on September calls when it hit $105.
