Agree with statement one but it's clear we are no longer "little brother" as they like to claim. They are begging to come to our conference. Our team is FAR superior. We are right on the edge. I completely agree with you on we are no longer little brother but tell those pompous jackasses that. They live in the past. 1 NC in the last 40 years does not a blue blood make. They still think of themselves as being on par with Alabama. That is how delusional they are. That is why I want Jimbo to beat it out of them.

Our policy makers know it. But China's hand is so far up their asses, they are just doing as told from Beijing (and Soros).

Gotta destroy our economy, then offer to give everyone fedcoin (fully controlled and overseen by the benevolent aristocracy in D.C.) as a bailout. Of course all spending is tracked and if you don't do or say the right thing or call Pelosi and Biden bad, we'll cut off your bank account.

All the Dem "stimulus" bills are stalled, they need the market to crash to give them cover to trot out more communism in name of saving us all.

Pretty clear where we are headed.

Great earnings, bad guidance. Market assumes great earnings, so that's already priced in. Tim Apple tanked it when he said there will be supply issues in the future. In this market, guidance is everything.

You also have the questions of where we go from here, are the results repeatable, what does the future hold?

This is particularly pronounced in very large/mega-cap stocks. But, the market will continue to evaluate as it does, especially once the algos lose steam.

In Apple's case, the 52 week high is $150 so it's not too far off at these levels after a great 1-year run, so a breather isn't unusual, especially in light of what I said above.

Since I wrote that, the market is also gauging repeatability of stellar performance (that it feels are baked in at this point) and worried about supply chain issues with the chip shortages that may delay sales going forward.

And, ironically, as I'm typing away, AAPL is shooting higher and near unchanged.

This is why I prefer investing over trading anymore

Schmitar summed it up yesterday. Expectations were that it would destroy earnings. Long-term the earnings were great, but short term you will see people taking profits. That might tend to drag the price down a little or a lot.

Got into Apple in August 2020 and Google on March 2021.

Google has given me a larger return in 7 months less time. (26% vs 24%)

Apples near future earnings are dependent on additional stimulus payments. Unemployed people can't afford their products. It's a long hold for me.

SAVA question for tomorrow: I have two netfree Aug $160c. Thinking of rolling it into a closer ITM call to book a little more profit and just have 1 call, lets say $140c. Good idea? Or should I just roll with the 2 further OTM calls i have leading into tomorrows presentation?
