We're likely looking at the flush OA1 was projecting for last Thurs/Fri....and I am very good with this happening. Extends the bull run in my opinion. I need extra bull run help exiting my dividend plays from this week - not a lot of help, but a little. Don't want to jinx myself, but if the stars stay aligned for me as for what I believe will happen (bull run continues through most of July), I'll be re-established in cash waiting on the "big one" to zippy down. And, I'll be one happy dude.

Covered call question: Can you choose which lot to exercise if I have to sell the shares? if so, how do you do that?
Quick recap of my morning so far thanks to that mini-rally the last 15 minutes:

WFC could be thinking the personal lines are going to the NYSE and decided to mitigate risk by shuttering.
ETA: Today would be a good day for WFC to monitor withdrawals for margin calls to their internal trading business.

Interesting thought, my radically fiscal conservative mind would have never even thought of this........our financial literacy sucks.
Kind of frustrated with myself as I must've done something wrong. Put a buy order in yesterday morning for ELOX at $1.60, which is what it closed at but I guess it wasn't there long enough to execute my purchase.
ES is poking out of the upper range.......led by Real estate, utilities, and possibly energy.

Today would be a good day for WFC to monitor withdrawals for margin calls to their internal trading business. They can see this easily and make a determination as to how other banks are impacted. If other banks follow suit or make restrictions, there's a problemMcInnis 03 said:

I'm your opposite, took weekly puts at resistance and it broke out, just took another weekly 429P at 430.47 thinking 8 would present some resistance...so far not working

I take it as less active bears and low motivation for longs to sell at these levels. More "ride it out" mentality since the past few red plunges have been bear traps. When we get limited buying we stair step down, but when we get any good volume buying we elevator up since the selling doesn't keep up.

These elevator ups haven't been on fantastic volume.
I do think there are a lot of people that dip bought right now that are declaring victory, but a retracement is needed for a better, more extended move to the downside. I was being serious when I asked how long it had been since we have had a bull trap. It's been months. This board has been pleased with itself for dip buying on bear traps.
