So maybe I'm not understanding this completely, but the WWR Nov 5p are currently $1.35. If I was to sell a put I would be given $135. If left in my account plus the additional $365 necessary to purchase the 100 shares, should I be assigned that would have essentially gotten me the shares at $3.65? And if they're not assigned then I would get to keep the $135? I'm ignoring commissions or fees with this question. Thanks in advance.

Yep, downside is you can't use that capital for anything else until November, but that's a personal choice based on where you are with the account / cash on hand

Seriously doubt this is true but if it percolates over a long 3 day weekend, WISH could have a huge week next week. If I were short WISH, this rumor would kill my holiday.

As previously disclosed, Asana, Inc. (the "Company") previously issued two unsecured senior mandatory convertible promissory notes for an aggregate principal amount of $450.0 million (the "2020 Notes") to a trust affiliated with Dustin Moskovitz, the Company's co-founder, president, and chief executive officer (the "Trust").

On July 1, 2021, pursuant to the terms of the 2020 Notes, upon meeting the closing trading price criteria for optional conversion by the Company, the Company elected to convert the 2020 Notes and issued a notice of conversion to the Trust pursuant to which the Company elected to convert all remaining amounts outstanding under the 2020 Notes into shares of the Company's Class B Common Stock at the applicable minimum conversion rate set forth in the 2020 Notes, for the issuance of an aggregate of 17,012,822 shares of Class B Common Stock to the Trust. I was eyeballing WISH late this afternoon at 11.77 thinking it might make for a good spot to start a small position to trade. Didn't pull the trigger. Might do so on early on Tuesday if it opens down there in that range. I'm guessing volume returns on Tuesday.

SPY & Stock Options Scalping Test Update

  • So this week ended rough for this effort.
  • I gave back 50%+ of this weeks profits by holding trades into today that showed weakness yesterday.
  • Almost all of them I could have exited profitably earlier in the week but held for larger gain. Technicals were intact but lost them yesterday. There's your sign FJ.
  • I also trimmed to net free runners on a few that I didn't exit green having not set stops. My error.

Realized Gains:
Weeks 1-4; 10K < $22.1K
Weeks 5&6: $22.1K < $26.4K
Total Weeks For 1-6; 10k < $26.4K
(3k) was given back this week (today) on poor discipline or would have been 29k+.

It can be done but there is not much room for discipline error.

I used some of the profits to buy shares of board plays then transferred to my main account. Also paid myself weekly so Mrs. FJ doesn't think its Monopoly money.

CNBC just had a graphic showing that the QQQ has had 17 times when it went up 7 weeks in a row, such as we have now.
Week 8 - up 85% of the time
Week 9 and 10 - up 52% of the time

Last week QQQ had a major trend breakout, and this week it had a follow through week. Y'all are nuts for shorting it if you're solely trading on price and technicals.

I'm not buying more up here, but I'm holding and not even thinking about shorting. I'll act when the trend changes or it goes full melt up mode.

I was not joking when I posted 400 is in the cards this year.

Markets will stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. Don't give back all your profits trying to get cute.

I'm going to bed now, y'all have a great 4th!

So don't have an exact number but the average trade the counters says is about 60 a day. But that measure contracts I think as I surely don't buy/sell 60 individual times. So a little 300 contracts a week. I never buy 1 contract when I do.
