30k are you buying physical gold or just silver? A PM bug friend of mine says that gold has slumped a bit from its historic parity with silver, so either silvers gotta slip a bit (unlikely) or gold is going to catch up.

He and i also discussed how cryptos seem to be buffering the moves PMs have traditionally made during market swings, interesting thing to think about

Finally, he mentioned that SLV tends to pump in the morning and fade through the day. I said man we should buy expiring atm calls at close each day and sell them at open. Would have worked friday... I'm gonna test it this week

On a more serious note, the model T from the breakout at the beginning of Nov '20 to the top in mid-April is ~$73-ish.

If you extend those two brontosaurus head trendlines, guess where they converge around the beginning of August...



Last couple of times it hit +1 ATR, it bounced off and and went below -1 ATR. Someone talk me out of a 7/16 $75p right now...


Try extending the uptrend line from lower wedge. Also hits at intersection?

Man, this one's weird. Flying high above +3 ATR for a while now. But the weirdest thing I've seen to date is what happened right after close on Friday...



Over 7 million shares - that one transaction is greater than all but a handful of the DAILY volumes since this stock started trading last year...



I've seen some talk about the CEO buying according to a pre-established plan - is that what this was? When is this thing gonna come back down to earth? Right now, it's waving at us from the moon.

After reviewing more stocks and seeing similar EOD action, I'm assuming this was more of an end-of-quarter reshuffle in funds that led to the volume spike.

I feel yah, I'm in a very similar situation. The only longs Im swinging other than MAs are the boards NIO and FTCH calls. I've got ASAN, NVDA, and ROKU July puts as well as VIX July calls. If things drift sideways this week from low market participation then that leaves us only two weeks and a decision to make. Some of these names have gone absolutely parabolic with hardly any backtests whatsoever. These are high risk shorts but I'm willing to put on some risk because when/if the music stops, these names will get hit.

NVDA is one I'm willing to say won't get your back test the way you think with the stock split coming up

Will start buying gold but I think the upside right now is in physical silver. Just buy some every month.

Crown castle - they're going to do OK, as will American Tower. The big beneficiaries of the 5G super cycle is the network equipment manufacturers - Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco. Ericsson had the best 4G gear. It's possible Nokia has the best 5G gear. Qualcomm is a major beneficiary and Microsoft has established itself as a player.

Boeing looks solid. It's going to do whatever the SPX is going to do.

Any new thoughts on WISH? @MrZackMorris (Twitter) and his cohort of over 100k degenerates on discord have decided to make it their next target. I don't see how they can reach their PT of $69 (Of course it is) with so few shares available to retail investors.

Its a new week with new opportunities. There will be some both ways.

Your morning snapshot....



I have no idea where we go this week but I do believe we will not hang above 426 all week without some back testing of lower should we continue up.

SKEW - I can't ignore SKEW and OA's shooting dot. History doesn't mean a pullback is today or this week but in the next number of weeks anyway. I will trust the data until proven otherwise.

SPY - I have about 424.63ish then 423.42 (maybe 423.71) maybe healthy back tests of support.

Qs - Well they have just been strong. Riding the 5EMA up and a back test of the 8EMA would be about 347 & 21EMA would be around 342ish. Will be watching 345.38...ish

IWM - Looks a little toppy to me trading between 219-235 since February. Not sure what will push this above ATH of 235.38

My Plan - if we push higher I will add late July or August hedges in a hedge fashion vs. a trade. Also will be working to maximize covered calls across the board with August or later expiry.

Let's get to it, protect our 'businesses' and make a few bucks this week.

Looking at IDRA goal post on post right goal pullback.

There is a large hidden refreshing ask sell at $1.29 I hit to check out commitment and it moved at 5k share buy but then returned to $1.29 ask, so if you decide to start buying I think you can do so at the bid in smaller amounts and add on any further consolidation.

It has options which you know I love on these for first pop leveraging. I'm holding off sending a tweet on it to allow slower buying for anyone in here who wants to join.

I'm mobile so someone might want to post a better chart but its pretty obvious.

If that's one of you showing 7k share bid go hidden or iceberg no more than 1k shares.

I think seller has a predetermined share dump to fill as low as $1.25 and you chasing them off the ask with a show of share interest just costs you, and everyone, more than you need.

Markets Quiet...Treasuries Under Support..Biden Delinks Two Infrastructure Deals

We expect a very quiet week until we get the employment data on Friday... Given the last few months the expectations of numbers on Friday are muted... 700,000 as predicted now... But we are looking at the potential for a blockbuster number as more states are see people removed from the dole as 25 states have eliminated the additional Federal payments for employment... Nonetheless, we expect a quiet week... At one point on Friday there was talk of a mega corporate bond deal, but the current expectation for the week is only 15-20 billion... Corporate spreads remain tight, some are the tightest they have been in a decade... Given the huge amount of cash on hand for corporates, we do not see a near term catalyst for widening.

Covid remains under control in the US, especially in the Northeast.. But globally problems remain... We see this morning that Hong Kong is banning all flights from the UK... And there seems to be many other situations....

We continue to agree with JPM, that 10 years will find a catalyst to rise in yield of 40 basis points, but that catalyst is not the beginning this week... We see that GS is bullish on equities... First from the trading side, where stock buybacks are picking up. S+P 500 companies have approved plans to buy back 567 billion of buybacks since the beginning of the year into mid June...They expect that number to rise to 726 billion by the end of the year, 35% over last year...GS Asset Management came out over the weekend saying that they prefer equities over credit and government bonds on expectations of robust global growth in the second half.

Expect some reallocations when the quarter ends on Wednesday...but we expect a quiet week with treasuries in a range for the 10 year of 1.42 to 1.59 and even narrower of 1.47 to 1.54... Equities are expensive but we still see a window into August of more record setting... Then not too sure...Corporate cash flows remain strong and business confidence remains high... And to quote a colleague, money flows where the action is... So for now we are good...

One last thing, we decided not to go through the inflation arguments today but transitory will not win.. Regardless, one comment we heard from someone we follow, inflation right now is being passed through with ease... Individuals and other businesses have no problem paying higher prices... Blame it on supply chain or shortages... But higher prices are being passed through... And that will catch up with the Fed doves at some point

Saw an article from last year saying Perestroika wanted to sell, they didn't, and have more shares than they did last year. So just throw that into the somethings cooking files.

NIO - I think if this gets over 45.98 could look to make a push again to 50+

47.50s will still be resistance as its MT. Rejected there 17th & 18th already.
