you guys are much better at charting than I but what do you think about a BA breakout soon? seems to be in a wedge consolidating a bit and the 8, 21, and 50 moving averages seem to be tight. Wanted to see if you guys are seeing anything of a potential there.

Also note that you'll have to have sufficient margin balance or cash to cover the sold puts. So it's not exactly free money to fund purchase of the calls. However if you are bullish on a stock but you are wrong on the timing when you buy calls, at least selling the puts can offset the loss of money from calls if the stock stays at current price or only slightly moves up. On the other side you don't have the unlimited upside like you do in calls. Just puts you on the other side of selling theta premium versus buying it.

You are spot on Tomas! I still haven't played with true margin even though its on my accounts. I saw someone post something on Twitter the other day that talked about the massive amount of margin/loans out in the market based on age groups... pretty scary if the market takes a nose dive.

There are very attractive puts from time to time on the MA stocks if you have the patience to wait. Sometimes I take them intraday on a dump if I see a morning flush in the market and you can pick up a decent bump on MT if you don't want to tie up your cash.

I believe 30k got in some $5 puts on AHT and I am in those as well for July and August. Bought some shares, sold some CCs, and bought some OTM calls with some of the premium.

Sometimes you pick up easy ones. I think FJ and I were both in $1 puts on DNN when it kept trailing in the lower $1-1.15 range. That was free money.

My larger naked puts for me are WWR, SNDL, AHT, WISH, and ELOX. Completely fine with being assigned on these as they are MA or enough of a meme stock I can hit the exit closer to expiration. I like going longer calls and LEAPs when we flush or correct. I believe OA has a truckload of net free leaps on SNDL (in addition to many of his other stocks I'm sure).

FJ posted earlier about one of the topics for the next zoom meeting being MA/net free strategies... which I think will be great for everyone. There are a ton of methods on this board and I think hearing success/failures from different parties can help everyone. I know there are many on here that have been burned selling CCs too early and miss the bigger move (guilty).

How is everyone sitting on the powder these days? I'm averaged around 40% cash between accounts...

Pretty big move today. Look for backtest of 8 or 21 and consider entering. Put credit spreads probably also good. Watch volume. Decent probability it hits 255 with macros cooperating. 250/260 call spread probably good. 255/250 put credit spread if you get good premium

I'm in a Miami Canes Crypto chat room 'CryptoCanes' I turned them on to WWR as well. I'm aware of 35K being held amongst them.

I was at 10k shares on WWR last time we checked in a while back. Now up to 18k since a bunch of may puts assigned.overall average around $4.50 before all my grinding with CCs since the original bat signal.

Also have various friends and family that are in for at least 5000 shares easy. Some just entered this week. To the moon. Let me know when and where the tailgate is.

I rarely post given that I still feel pretty amateur compared to the regular posters. But learning along the way.

In fact - today I bought my first calls ever. 4 NIO July 16 $50 calls at $1.10. Hoping I don't screw this up but, thanks to this forum, felt like it was time to give it a spin.

I truly appreciate the open sharing and teaching on this board. I'm on it daily and learn something more every day. Thanks fellas!
