No. I have relegated myself to trading in one account (it's an IRA). I sold Calls against shares and I'll lift them today or wait til Friday.
All other accounts are cash heavy or holding positions I have no intention of changing at this point. (The cash will go back in the market.) My real trading account I have fixed to a point where I do not want to touch it (...and it should be an IRA, but oh well,...). I'm probably bassakwards to most folks, but it's worked for me over the years. I am handicapped a bit in terms of trading optionality using an IRA, but I'm okay with it. I'm just killing time until a pullback.

I switched to shares for now but VEON volume the last 4 days has been around 10 millions shares on the daily all in the range of 1.65-1.70

So for those who haven't gone net free, how do you play this when it opens? Sell 7/16 10C into the run up on 50%?
It was $11.45 a few months ago so I would not sell the $10s this close if this rips. Maybe go out a few months and higher strike would be my play.jwhitlock3 said:

It's interesting watching market activity today. I'm thinking "red" and this baby is green and appears strong.
I am going with JPOWELL market effect, if he opens his mouth, it falls. I bet against him last time and I lost. He is consistent and delivers a falling market on the days he speaks. If I am wrong this time, I will have a second new rule, 1.) don't play earnings and 2.) don't play Powell speeches.

I feel like every time he has spoken this year, we were green in the morning, then went red after the speech.

So why would it get halted just for positive news? In the past halts have seemed to come after a huge run up (or down) and all kinds of volatility. WWR hasn't done much yet today, so why the halt?
AND WWR is unhalted. Opens above 5 and seems to be holding it
