You won't get much argument from me. I think what we're going to see is something similar to it's April run up where it got to $135 quickly, spent a few days at +3 ATR then retreated to the low $120's. This thing has been range bound between $120 and $135 since early February and I don't know that this is going to be a whole lot different particularly since the whole market seems to be convincing itself it's time for a pull back.

here's my two cents on $NVDA. Chart looks so bullish, doesn't it? If you were purely an indicator trader, you would say, hey, this looks fantastic to enter right here with my FOMO. I think there are really really good odds this touches the 21 EMA or spikes lower. I would look to exit at $655 or so.

Full disclosure that I have a difficult time trading $AAPL in anything other than shares / cc.

That said, this REALLY respects +3 and -3 ATR, sometimes fails at +2/-2. I think you can make money shorting apple to the mean from +3 ATR.

I've also noticed that volume above 175M per day precedes a big up move most of the time.

Especially with the move AH right now. It is so beyond extended on a weekly chart.

The last couple of times it went +3ATR it pulled back $100+ over 3-4 weeks.

That's where I've made most of my money with AAPL is playing basically a -2 ATR back to the mean and then putting trailing stops after it passes the 21 day. Rinse. Repeat.

add three separate Keltner Channels. First is a 1 offset, 2nd is 2, 3rd is 3

Factor = offset

Do you think a Jul 16 670/660 Put spread would work here too? Cost is 1.10 right now for potential 8.90 profit if NVDA closes below 660. I'm looking at this as a lower entry than OA's play, with less profit potential too of course.

If you put multiple boiler bands with different sigma doesn't that basically do the same as the kelter channels?

I think 30k and McInnis (one of the triplets anyway) are the experts on that type of play. They're good at pinning things like this.

It's cheap for a reason but I've seen far dumber plays. Maybe with premium high you go the inverse route and sell some OTM call spreads?

The difference is that ones max loss is premium paid, the other has to be baby sat. When iv is high, selling sometimes works better than buying.

McInnis said it well. I wouldn't do a vertical like that. I'd go ultra wide like 700/650 and see if I could get a better than 1:1 risk to reward.

Should be an interesting day today with all the expirations. Not expecting fireworks one way or the other though.

SPY I think we need over 423.02 (423.42ish even better) to get back on track upward.
Qs are strong and being led by many of the big boys.

Lotto day for the degenerates.
