Well these were no fun at all. This was my first time playing VIX calls, much less around a Fed meeting, and I was shocked to see how little these moved (both on the flash down and the buy up). Exited for a tiny gain at 1.60, but more importantly, I'm gaining the valuable lesson to never do this again.

I don't want to complain about a 26% gain, but it could've been a 45% gain if the internet on this rig wasn't so s&*#ty. Got a 6/18SPY 423P right before the announcement but by the time I could get the order submitted it dropped more. Not bad for holding a whole 5 minutes though.

Agree. This losing 420.68 at the moment IMO will be a flush below down to 416-414 levels I think.
