So what's everyone's strategy with Clov cc in July. Lots of shares us with share covered in July 17s - 20s. Just wait and see. Never had something run this far ITM.
I just unloaded 100% of SUM holdings. Older forum people remember that one under $12 starting point that we hit $25 for net free and then the virus took it to under $9 again for another round of mass accumulation under $9? Exited at $35.67.

I am very sad... I went all in back in February and margined up for this exact run. Had to sell at $9 as it looked to be heading to $5 where I would have been margin called (I had 60k shares). I bought in my retirement that day to ignore the short term noise and sold calls on it every month making good premium.$30,000 Millionaire said:

I bought 6k shares at $9 and sold the $13 calls for next Friday when it was running last week... Those calls are down 20,000% as of now. I feel sick to my stomach but very happy for this board today.
Lesson learned is:
1) Don't over margin
2) Stick to stocks you believe in even when they fall hard
3) Never second guess OldArmy (probably should be number 1 lol)
I believe in WWR and have over extended myself on this but am not margined up. I have stopped selling calls on this just waiting for a rocket up the behind.

I sold all of mine the first round and rolled into CX. It's been very stable in the $8-$9 range. What are your thoughts about CX?
I know I know......covered calls are a great way to lock and profits and lower your cost basis over the long run. In the end, it's a good approach....but I've got to quit botching the use of them.
Between MGNI, MARA, MVIS, and now CLOV I end up selling CCs to soon (and on too many of my shares) and have lost out on the ability to sell the shares at the higher prices and often times not even getting called out on the shares because the ticker comes right back down after the spike. I realize you can always buy CCs back or roll them, but that only seems to prolong the timeline and the ultimate result.

Yesterday I sold 6/18 $15 CC on 100% of my CLOV shares. I am 100% OK with letting them go at this price. Given this am run up... Id like to take profits and move to next trade.
1-Do you just wait and see if they get called out?
2-Roll some to July $17?
3-Buy back the contracts and sell immediately, given the math shakes out?
I rolled 1 call to Jul $20 for $0 during the run from $19-25. Originally sold the $15 call for $60. I can now close the July call that I rolled at $705 for $450. Gain $255 and be out of of 1 of these CC?
