The halting of the trade flow in a short time frame actually works against the intended use. Like an old vaudevillian act, keep stalling the crowd for the main act and whip the audience into a dramatic frenzy. However, as for tomorrow and having a chance to sleep on the activity that took place....well, that can yield a different result.

Can someone smarter than me explain why the WWR Aug 20 2.5 calls Bid is $2.00 when the stock is trading at 4.68?

That puts an all in price at $4.50. Why wouldn't there be some premium there?

Is it because the stock doesn't have any volatility?

Yes, and you're more likely to get a nice cheap fill on the NOV 2.5 actually looking at the spread. Oops, the bid just upped.

For my fellow degenerate day traders in here, you might consider BCTX as a trade into the close. Volume is insane and it's a gamble, but a definite scalping possibility.

You are recouping your initial investment. So if you bought 2 contracts for $0.20 you would sell 1 contract at $0.40 and hold the other contract for any additional upside, but if it's a lotto play you might consider selling it all or putting in a stop.
