I like it, joined on this pullback. Fed speaker at 2, but I see no concern on vix or any big vxx or uvxy buys.

Question/advice for you wily trading vets for a newbie this year trading an individual stock account. I have a nice profit in a stock that I want to hold long term, however I think I will have ample opportunity to buy back the stock at similar or lower price level than what it is trading today over the next few weeks. I know this sale will result in a short term capital gain, but I have some crap stock positions that I have avoided getting out of that I would finally sell to offset these gains. Any reason I shouldn't do this?

Stock is ABML, accumulating entry price average is $1.98 and currently trading $2.33. I want to own ABML through the eventual (hopefully) NASDAQ uplisting and sit on it long term. I own some real ****e stocks like YALA, FUBO, and NNOX that I have just been avoiding throwing the towel in on. Do I sell ABML now to stop looking at these horrible positions and offset my gains? Knowing I will be buying back the ABML position in the near term future. Appreciate your insight.FJ43 said:What is the stock?GetSum said:

What are levels above current spot?
Entry price?
Great advice, though no options on the OTC stock I would sell.Tomas Hermensa said:GetSum said:

My thoughts: do what you think is best for your money. Even if you love it long term, if it's going to be had cheaper later then you don't have to ride the price down with it. That said just remember that no one outside of Congress really knows what stocks will do for 100%, which is why portion sizing is good. Maybe it's a great idea to sell all of this one, or maybe a portion or none. You could consider paying some premium to buy calls just in case it runs after you get out. If premium is low enough that might make sense. You could also take profit on some or all shares and sell some naked OTM puts to pocket premium or be assigned those same shares at a lower price.

Does it seem WWR gets a lot of volume about every 4 months? That would put more massive volume around 1 month from today.
May be nothing since it has only happened twice, but that is what I am seeing. Volume is non existent right now. Not sure if that is me trying to justify things but volume has fallen off a cliff.
