That was my thought as well. Just the whole not being able to withdraw until 50 something. I'll probably buy the bulk of it in my Roth but also buy a share or two for my taxable account

Yes I did. Simply put playing VIX in a market like this is easy.

There are psychological levels with VIX. Below 20 is bullish, especially below 18. 20-24 is tread lightly, but I'm this range, a direction is usually chosen quickly. Above 24 and I'm scaling in 20 puts.

My largest win recently was when my alert for VIX > 24 went off. I bought some 20 puts two weeks out. Then as it rose past 26 I dumped a load in. It topped at 28 and quickly came crashing down below 20. It was a 5 bagger.

I am not surprised at all that the government is acting to protect the fundamental thing that gives it financial power - the dollar.

There will be more. I wouldn't be surprised to see a pretty brutal regulatory/tax regime placed upon cryptocurrency, but with a holiday period prior to implementation.

I dabbled in this a while back. I jumped in too early but still ended up making 40% after watching it go to a near 80% loss at one time.

Should we get a 25-30% pullback most stocks will take a decent hit. Unless they are in a sector that remains strong or these are fundamentally sound by then, potentially a larger % IMO.

One thing I have learned about the 'momentum' stocks, they can always find a lower support level.

It's such a disgrace. All the top talent in the space has already moved to Asia because of the asinine restrictions they ALREADY have on us. We're being left in the dust in an incredibly critical tech sector.

I mean here's a thought... don't buy it. No one forced me to push that button.

I do find it funny though... I had to explain to a lot of people what the term "bag holder" means in investing.

I told them that someone has to sell GME to realize gains and that would start a tumble. You can't spend your GME wealth you have to get the money out. Paper gains are just that.

Met with Denial.

Same with Doge... anyone I knew that had significant paper profit I urged them to at least go net free and you really should grab some profit.

Denile ain't just a river in Egypt.

Then all these people scream manipulation when they let themselves hold the bag.

funny story for you guys: my Dad is one of those people that thinks he is an expert at everything and he told me he would be a better trader than me. He has zero trading experience. I wanted to spare him from disaster, so we had a trading challenge this week. I made him use paper trading and I traded with real money. He blew up his account and the week isn't over yet. He put 50% in spy calls on Monday, sold them on Tuesday, recovering ~40% of the 50%. He wagered everything on spy OTM puts on Wednesday, didn't stop out. He's holding out hope for the SPY to hit 400 tomorrow.

Well we didn't dump overnight.....Futures green. Options Expiration day so I would expect an interesting day on some.

SPY trying to test that 416.30ish level that was rejected yesterday. - SPY surprised me a bit making it through 414 but did get rejected at my 416.32 level. Lets see if we break this today and I expect some resistance at 417.45ish. Can't lose 414 IMO.

Qs in the 329s - 330 is a good one to break. I see 331,60, 333, 334.84, 336.87....all ish. Can't lose 326 IMO.

RSIs on those two about middle of the road & both closed above the ATR mean.
VIX is still up over 20 at 20.61
SKEW at 142.96

More importantly....Rally Resistol Palm to close the week.
