LOL, I was this close to buying SPY puts. Missed my entry, would've paid! VIX was down at support before fed minutes, but curling up a bit.
RARE time I used a market order exit on the call lotto. I always use limit.

Had bought 410P at the top when we had 5 1-min pings and didn't break through resistance. Sold those when we tested 408. Bought the lotto on reversal.

In the future I will lotto puts when these guys say anything outside of hello.

SPY is one of the only issues I'll use market orders on options. Low spread and highly liquid for a relative small-timer like myself.

Not unusual for exaggerated moves immediately after the FOMC minutes. They tend to get bought back up
Very true, but after the month I've had, I had no intentions of risking a nice win turning into a loss, so I set a stop at 12:50 and ended up with a 39% gain when the dust settled. Hopefully next time I'll have the stones to ride it out.

Some interesting results from my RSI(2) with ADX>30 >200dema scan that brought up EPD, TGT, HD, etc

TAP (GREEN HAMMA!)
AZO
WHR
DISH
(HD is on there too, but only 1 day out from earnings so I disqualified it)

You could buy a few of these at the bottom of the range and set your stop loss for the low of the day as protection..... the others have already done quite a bounce on the daily.

Been using RSI 9 with 80/40. Not sure I have that as a good barometer or not and should try your 14.

On mine touch 80 or 40 and seems to trend anyway. We are at the bottom area now.
