My son is 5 and he owns 40 shares. If I'm right it will pay for his entire college and then some for 20K now.

ETA: if I'm right, 10 shares now for 5K would be worth 100K if it prints $1000 per share post split. Worth the risk for me.

Gotcha... if I went with it, it would be a decision between buying 50 shares now or waiting to hopefully buy 60 for the same investment amount. I'll probably wait for a bit to decide especially since the macros are tricky AF at the moment...

This should be expected. When you've crushed every mom and pop and then hand out billions to people with no financial sense, wall street becomes the benefactor. Question is how do us middle class peons get a piece of the pie.

That's my expectation. SPY 5/21 410 calls on the menu today. Ideally enter shortly before FOMC meeting minutes are released where they confirm no change to current policy in the near future.

My expectation as well. I feel like everyone gets really bearish ahead of anything the Fed says and we're at a point where the pullback is big anticipating bad news then once they release minutes we take a deep breath and the rally is on again. Kind of the market's version of "hope for the best, prepare for the worst".

After catching up yesterday and reading a little on this, I'm pretty interested. I'm young so my timeline is quite a few years out, it's just a matter of moving a few things around to snag 10-15 shares and deciding which account to buy in.
