Just wanted to say that John Carter loves spreads for small accounts. I've been learning about them with their "options bootcamp" video series too. I think I like them too. The ability to absorb a little theta decay is nice!

You must have missed my 90's video game analogy. In those awesome wrestling video games, everyone wanted to play someone with an explosive move, or some crazy gimmick (macho man, undertaker, stone cold). Those are naked puts and calls. The wrestler that wore skimpy undies and had no crazy move, but was crazy balanced across the board on their stats and would just win matches.....that's the spread. Boring, not exciting, wears crappy costume......but just freaking wins the match over and over.

I believe she is referring to the fed trying to meet it's stated criteria of full employment and it's impact on raw goods / inflation centric industries. I could be dead wrong, though.

VOLSPD is the advance/gain of the S&P 500, not sure on why the took it down by 1MM on the scaling.....but the overall S&P shape typically mimics the VOLSPD shape.

Ive been looking more into it as a long hold in retirement account and trying to figure out the best way to leg into it using options? Not a huge dividend at all but the continued growth over the years along side it is hard to ignore
Ive bought calls a few times on it when it dropped below the 50 EMA and made good money on it so my plan right now is to pick up shares along side some options next time it drops below and sell some CCs on a portion
