I replicated this strategy using XLE like he used and QQQ as a baseline, and both are roughly 5% losses since Feb 26 last year (when the 200MA kicks in on my lolpoor Fidelity chart).

I'm not sure I could psychologically keep faith with this strategy if I'm losing 5% on a period when QQQ posted solid gains.

I bought back my MARA $30 calls today for 80% profit. I'd like to see them back to the mean to sell CC again or to sell the shares.

Yeah, many long term investors have $30 - $500 share price breakevens due to several reverse splits. Now we are approaching commissioning and an EV boom down here at a $3-6 entry range, seems like any easy net free spec play from here.

It will be a long climb. Many that bought at the bought or just under the previous range will sell at their cost or whatever profit margin they were intending. I do think it will be interesting to see the short interest at the end of this month. I bet it's had another big jump. I could see another squeeze this summer.

All good points, but I'd also remind you he doesn't have a sophisticated exit on this test, just a touch of the 5 day as his leave......could be executed better systematically. It's just another tool in the toolbox. I'm still looking for the holy grail. :\

We're in the ~9% down area on the QQQ from the 343 high 2wks ago. ~313 would be the 150DMA and likely a good turning point. I think we get a dead cat back into the mid 320s (Likely a rejection at the 50DMA) before we get there though
