Tactical trading tutorial for new people. This is the 1 hour for TTD. See the volume and intense selling pressure? Don't catch a falling knife. At some point this is going to start to retrace, but wait for a period close above the high of the low bar against whatever period you want to use. Lowest I would personally go is 15 minutes, ideally 30/60. You would then enter and have a stop to be going below that reversal area.

Been taking my LUV/UAL profits lately and buying more QQQ/GOOGL.

Pretty tech heavy now, with QQQ/GOOGL/AAPL making up ~25% of my portfolio.

(Plus whatever exposure I get through S&P 500, which is 50%.)

I'm very long on these, so not too worried about dips in the near future. Just hope I didn't shoot my load too early...

Is anybody buying TTD with the 10-1 split coming? Not sure why this is not a bullish news.
Because their ER didn't live up to epectations. I'm giving it the 3 day rule given that it is post ER. If it can't close over 500, it could see 445 before it truly bounces
I don't see any reason to buy this. It is likely to bounce if you want to scalp.
I'm not touching it right now. It is in a death spiral. Hence the 3 day rule to see if it begins a base
It seems like post split, and in a trending market, it'll be a good one to have (with reasonable access to for trading). for now? with the crazy sell pressure in the market? Easy to leave this one alone.

Incoming 50DMA test on the QQQ at ~326. If you're short tech, I would look to do some covering around here. If you're looking for entries into tech, this 50DMA test might give you that spot.

What's the move with WWR right now? Is it time to load up more under $4 or are we going lower?

I sold some may $5P, at 1.09 will either bank profit or get cost at 3.91. You could get a little better price right now 1.25

Oh so close! I had 420.05 which we paused on, lost it briefly but hadn't made it to 419.16. Sold my puts there but man I may regret it.

Pivot at 419 and I'll take some weekly calls for a trade.

As long as Unemployment Office is checking to follow up on job seeker's information they turn in, because right now the Gov't isnt checking that I know of. I think job seekers aren't turning any information in to show they're trying to get employed. Have a close bud in MN that went 11 months before he found employment. Never got asked for any information that he was trying to find a job. Benefits just kept hitting his bank account. He was applying to an average of 3 positions a week where his skillset met requirements.

Not to get political but to just try and see the future. To me the democrats are going to use this jobs report and the unemployment amount to try to "compromise" for a $15 minimum wage.

How have minimum wage hikes historically affected the markets? Have any sectors benefitted?

They don't want to fix it. They want to break it. Permanently.

End the middle class, put the majority of this country on the government payroll (UBI), where every election is simply vote for the Dems and the 'free ****' continues, or vote R and have everything taken away from you.

To get the compromise dems will have to remove the incentive pay to not work. If that were to occur, employers will have a plethora of applicants, however employers won't hire the same number they had before. Businesses will also put more capital investment into automation/robots. A lot of people will find themselves unemployed without the juicy benefits and progs will push for UBI.

The will accelerate the Cloward-Piven strategy and won't be good for anyone.

I don't recall if anyone has mentioned HNDL here. Interesting mix of Bonds and Tech. Typically pretty steady in price. I watch this as a quick reference for broader Tech, but the steady hand of the bond mix has always provides a balanced price action and removes a lot of market drama. When it moves up, Tech is great, when moves down .03 to .09 it is stabilizing, when down > .09 Tech and Bonds appear to be struggling. Down .16 today. (I think this ETF trades the wheels off Tech on a daily basis. I don't see anything in their mix to allow the dividend payout that it produces.)

Keep in mind the number one benefactor of the DNC (Soros) has stated it's his life's mission at this point to destroy the US Dollar (and to be handed down to his POS son Alex) if he doesn't complete that objective before he dies.

Lots of willing sycophants in the DNC who owe him all their power and wealth.
