CLOV.

So they had huge buy volume on 4/18 and 4/19, that volume has NOT been sold off. We have now had the four days of down price action (is that the OA head fake to shake out us nobodies?) and now set to go? Trying to read the tea leaves on this one. It ain't easy.

Welp, now we know the catalyst for the rally into close.

They had those job numbers in hand and knew the interest rates weren't going anywhere but down.

One word of caution for today - Biden's speaking at 11 eastern about this jobs report. You know it's going to be bad - a call for more stimulus, executive action, GOP meanies, etc.

This is where my head is as well. Normally I'm not one to complain about stocks going up, but it almost felt like yesterday's SPY close was too much, too fast without much profit-taking along the way. If i had to guess, we'll see some at the open. Prime opportunity for SPY lotto scalpers with the huevos to buy puts.

I will buy some 5/14 SPY put scalps I bet at some point today. Think we go up on SPY but not without some intraday volatility. Will be watching test of 417 and 416.30ish again.

I tried buying SPY calls yesterday when it was at 416 on limit orders and didn't get filled. Kicking myself for not doing markets as they would have paid off.

Strategy question... I'm like a lot on here in that I'm stuck in a bunch of growth and bio stocks. If I get the chance to get out around even or so on these, should I go ahead and make the move and look to enter later if necessary, or just hold through all this? I don't necessarily need the cash elsewhere at this time, but I hate watching it go down every day.

Stimmies, fed bond buying, and low rates are what is propping this market up. As soon as there is a hint of tapering, we sell off hard.

I think you have to evaluate each stock individually, but in general, I'd be looking to get out and reset.

That's what I'm striving for, have learned so much the hard way the last three months, realize I need to make my portfolio more robust. That, and I fully expect a correction sometime this year, and that's going to hurt a lot more than what we've been seeing the last 90 days if you're still holding all of these.

Picked up cheap SNDL shares premarket for $0.72 and just sold ITM expiring $0.5 calls for $0.27. Hoping SNDL pulls back a penny or two by end of day and I keep the money. If not, I make enough profit on those shares to take the wife out to a nice dinner.

a) unloading it (if you don't believe in the stock)

i bought a few SPY 420 end of may calls yesterday that turned out beautifully. sold them just now for about 50% gain
