I might go with a put spread - 5/21 exp on it.Ranger222 said:FJ43 said:
TSLA up to $686 on news they are sold out for the QTR.
If you bought calls congrats! They should pay I would think.
Couldn't get past that 685ish area.....

This is my plan for the morning, selling my SPY calls into any push and wait for a retest of support and see how we react. Been a weird week so far.FJ43 said:
So far weak on good news. Sentiment still more downside I suppose. If I bought calls think I would be selling on any push if it happened.
I don't know about model T in relation to the squeeze.trip98 said:McInnis 03 said:$ASO new ATHs, we got a squeezer.... https://t.co/KPLbX6Kjz6 pic.twitter.com/SSynCn1Zk3

So I've learned model T..... Used it yesterday on ASO to avoid selling cc too early
And I get ATR and the MAs...but how do you tell with this squeeze going on and it ripping so high so fast when to sell?
It's shot up so quick can we still trust model T?
ASO looks like textbook pennant pattern (definition here) - based on the left flagpole, I'm targeting $36-37ish as the top.trip98 said:McInnis 03 said:$ASO new ATHs, we got a squeezer.... https://t.co/KPLbX6Kjz6 pic.twitter.com/SSynCn1Zk3

IMO if we see $37 we're going to get a flash higher on shorts covering. I think I saw a percentage of 30-40% short or some nonsense like that? Some of the weaker hands will cover there.ibdm98 said:ASO looks like textbook pennant pattern (definition here) - based on the left flagpole, I'm targeting $36-37ish as the top.trip98 said:McInnis 03 said:$ASO new ATHs, we got a squeezer.... https://t.co/KPLbX6Kjz6 pic.twitter.com/SSynCn1Zk3

Is this market, I'd get out and take the 100%.
closed at a loss when we broke the LOD from the first 5 minutes. Not off to a great start today.jwhitlock3 said:This is my plan for the morning, selling my SPY calls into any push and wait for a retest of support and see how we react. Been a weird week so far.FJ43 said:

Had a great earnings report (beat estimates by 10%) and guided higher ROY.krosch11 said:
$SSRM volume this morning
If you have "calls" plural, at a minimum I would sell half at 100% to go net free and let the rest ride. Don't forget to set a stop for them, though, to ensure you at least lock in some gains. Nice job on the successful trade!SF2004 said:
Noob here but don't want to mess up a green trade as those have been hard to come by the last few days.
What are we looking for in ASO for an exit.
I am at 100% return on my calls so I could exit and be happy but once again I am stuck trying to figure out how to recognize the end up a 1-2 day jump.
Cannot emphasize this enough. I tried to "let a few winners run" and they both took the elevator down.CrazyRichAggie said:Yep, I am taking my gains when I can get them. no matter how small.Jet Black said:
