1) Kill it, no split
Institutions are already holding, nobody left to buy, targets are all already above ATM price.......3500 fly for tomorrow?

2) Kill it, split
Retail tries to flock in as fast as they can but can only do so much on a behemoth like that....institutions say "i'll take more of that pie" and drive it up......I'm thinking 3600 fly is nails there.

3) All other scenarios..............I can't even try to fathom what kind of move lackluster results would produce so I won't try.

Can you walk me through this, I've never tried a butterfly spread before.

I understand the mechanics of the option, reaching max profit at the 3600 strike, with tapering profits between 3570 and 3630.

Does the overall trade premium reach a higher mark as the stock gets closer to the spread? Can you sell the option OTM prior to expiration if you are happy with the ROI on your initial premium investment? I'm assuming on an OTM butterfly spread you aren't looking to let this expire.

Also, is this the 4/30 spread?

Buy 1 3570c
Sell 2 3600c
Buy 1 3630c

Will cost you ~$1.40 with a max profit of $28.60 (fly spread minus your debit). In order to breakeven, AMZN must be at 3571.40 and 3628.60 at the close tomorrow. (that's if you're holding til close).
