I was also wondering about MA stocks. Say you had net free shares of a popular MA stock but this represents 15% of your current trading account. Would you look for a pop and sell some/most shares by early May thinking it's unlikely to have enough IV for monthly calls to make much and expecting the price to dwindle over the summer? Or if it's a MA stock do you hold through the summer?
Since he specifically mentions "trading money" I imagine he'll keep things he's long on. IRAs and the like...

I did the same but left 1 runner to see. As I have graduated to doing 4 or more contracts I have learned to take profits and let one stay as a runner in case. If it drops then I cut bait and be happy and move to the next one.
