fwiw, VIX from yesterday's pop through today looks identical to end of February drop (that lasted into first week of March). I think it was Feb 26th that it started.

If SPX did the same thing in the next week or 2, we'd see 4000, maybe even a flash below. Not saying it will happen, jsut observation

Nice bounce CLOV off 8.35. Perhaps a little squeezey to end the day. Shorts maybe got a little too comfortable looking for a 8.25 cover. 8.80 is daily VWAP. Would love to see a reclaim, obviously as I added 2/3 more at 8.50.

we have moved from +3ATR to +1ATR on the daily and we are back to 2 ATR on the weekly. The last time the SPX got to +3 ATR on the weekly, it moved for several weeks between +2 and +3 ATR before having a large correction to the mean. It is quite possible we make one more charge to 4300 in May/June before a dump.

Interesting. Do you use those multiple time periods to try to show momentum for RSI? Something similar to what the MACD is supposed to do?

NKE lost the 200 SMA. RSI(9) is at 27.4 Why does this seem very oversold.

124.83, 122.27 then 120.69...both ish levels are next.

I'm trying to find out if it is in fact $DNN, but our Nuclear Fuels division recently met with a Canadian company that is working to develop a new uranium mine in Africa... Namibia, Niger, and South Africa produces about 16% of the world's supply. This may or may not be public knowledge so just wanted to throw it out there.

I do. Periodically I will insert vertical lines at pullbacks on candles aligned with RSI high points and compare the RSI between the two for smaller or larger pullbacks. Can't say I have figured anything out but something I started paying attention to. Especially on SPY & Qs.

How do you determine the ATR?

When I use a charting service for ATR it gives me some sub graph that I can't figure out how to determine what ATR is.

This is why respecting stops is important and you can't passively trade agressive stocks.

It's a hefty learning curve with the wave language, but it's incredibly insightful. It's OA levels of successful with where we are going. Timing is nearly impossible to predict though. That's why you layer it with other indicators.

How do you find the values that these waves start?

There are so many technical that it seems they can all be right, wrong, or 50/50.

Meanwhile I just buy high and sell low... that's my motto.
