Man, I'm a novice at all of this, but I think in this case you're going to have to hold PLTR a little longer than 12 minutes to get some benefit out of it. It's volatile and isn't going to immediately make you money.

I've only been at this a few months, but so far trading has gone for me the way golf does... spend a lot of money to get pissed off.

I think questioning, alternative opinions, or expressing concerns is helpful. I agree with others that volume is the key here. This month as WWR prices have continued to wane, the volume has been relatively low compared to volumes since late September. If we were in a major selloff due to change in the company, we would see much more volume than this. Likewise, if you want to wait to buy as prices are rebounding, you might wait for volume to return to confirm a reversal of the short-mid-term downward trend. I think volumes will get back over 2.5 million per day before we see any big moves. Up again. I've bought back in to my max risk on this one, but it might have been prudent to hold off a bit until reversal was confirmed, even if I missed some of the rebound. McFly has a saying about leaving the buns alone and going after the meat, though that always sounds a bit sketchy.

Keep asking, that's the only way to learn. Also, not all the plays listed here will work out, people just don't talk about the bad ones.

Position sizing.

You can take losses on the above plays in combination with the winning trades entry/exits and be nicely profitable.

I think the lure or temptation is to YOLO or FOMO and keep getting bigger on these plays for the grand payday and before long the other side of the risk on these bites you.

Every trade is a calculated risk and you have to honor entry and exit points on both sides. IMO position sizing must be a part of that calculation.
