Just curious if folks bought SNDL in the low $0.90s, then sold then on the pivot at $1.09? 15-20% swing in a basically a day.

Now you buy back at $0.93 again....if you wanted to that is.
Bought in at .93 today.

Sold Fridays $1p for .09

Anyone still holding CADE? They just announced a merger with Bancorp South!
https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/bancorpsouth-bank-and-cadence-bancorporation-to-combine-in-transformational-merger-301266365.html

$1.25 special dividend and 0.70 shares for CADE shareholders

Still holding CADE since you brought it up last year around $6.00. Merger will take effect 4Q 2021. Still consider this a hold after the merger?

I will probably trim a bit, but I do like the combined bank. Seems to have some decent synergies, but a merger of this size will have some challenges.

I'm as young and stupid as anyone else on this thread but even I've learned the power of covered calls on high beta stocks. I have no plans to sell CLOV, DPW, WWR, etc. but if you think I haven't been selling the rips and buying the dips then that's just lazy portfolio management. I think my point is that even with a losing stock, you can still make money if you approach things the right way. And BTW I 'll fully admit that I haven't done well in my timing in terms of buying and selling lol!

My approach has been heavy in my long term account now on FUBO, WWR, and CLOV covered calls. I'm getting great premium and buying back more shares at this level with the cash.

Morning Gents...

SPY, Qs and IWM pretty much flat here early.
RSI on SPY at 90.1 (YIKES) - RSI on Qs at 71.8 (High) - RSI on IWM at 47 (Good shape)
SKEW at 134.29 (Good shape)

OPEX week so more of the same I suspect. I do think we see a cooling off or slight back test on SPY sooner rather than later. But what do I know.

Oh...TSLA premarket touching at $712....maybe #SHBM

Trade wisely!

I believe J&J was trying to get approval to put their crap into kids 12-16. Yeah, my kid will. Not be getting this vaccine.

There will be more of this type of thing IMO as time passes with all the vaccines for COVID. Unknown side effects and durations for having to get it again. Not to mention effectiveness.

Good part as of now is it is a choice to take the vaccine or not..

I don't get why any healthy person under the age of 50 is running out to get one. I will take my chances with COVID, plus I already got it and had a runny nose for 3 days.

Just my personal choice at age 53. Not taking it.

Fairley certain I had it late Feb 2020 during my weekly trips back and forth to LA. Sick with flu like symptoms for about a week and Dr. couldn't tell what it was. Gave me antibiotics and I resumed to normal life the next day.

31 years old and had 1st dose of Moderna. Most on here don't seem to want it and that's absolutely fine, so I'll share just to give another perspective on why I did elect to get it. I think I had it, and getting Covid doesn't concern me but I choose vaccine because:

1. I'll be flying again soon and I want to be protected from bringing it home to my family. Personally I wasn't comfortable getting on a crowded plane and risking point #2 again.
2. My wife had it and the 10 day quarantine that shut our entire house down can't happen again, no daycare and not working for that long hurts.
3. I've got a pregnant wife who can't get it, an almost 2 year old who can't/won't get it and I'll have a newborn in 4 months. If I can do something to protect their health I will.
4. Older parents that come around a lot to see their grandkids and have asthma and other issues that could make Covid more of an issue. Again, more of a concern now that I'll likely be traveling more.
