Yep. Would have liked it to close above yesterday's high (CAHOLD) and its still below 5/8/21/50 EMAs. It fits Redler's RDR though as I understand it and these points below:

  • An oversold stock that opens above the previous session's low.
  • The stock would then reverse and trade down through the low.
  • Following which the stock reverses and moves to the upside.
  • When the stock breaks below the previous session's lows, shorts may enter in. A move back above the previous session's low could be used as a trigger for buying into the stock. The lows of the previous session could be used as the point for buying the stock, with the low reached intra-day set as the exit point in case if the bet backfires.

I think this fits all those points in today's action.

I started using it the same approach to do a custom layout as IBKR provides. I detach every panel then place on the screens as I want. The you have a custom setup not limited to the parameters they set. When you log off then log back on the settings remain.

Thanks, am hoping to do the same (copy IBKR setup, largely).

If you run a multiple screen setup you have a lot of flexibility. It was after moving mostly to IBKR utilization that made me look deeper into TOS and what I could do to achieve some degree of similarity.

my CLOV basis is $10.50. I might have sold May cc too early (or at least OA thinks so), but I would be completely fine selling half my shares at $12.50 + premium.

Side note...been laughing at myself at my new alert sounds. Gave up the system alarms and alerts that cause mild panic and got me some I can tolerate.

Alert for going up - Old time cash register dinging and drawer opening.
Wrong way - some character that just says "Uh Oh"

Much better for the blood pressure.

This is why I took less premium and sold a small portion at May $15's.

I'll wait for a further run up and sell more $15's, and possibly $17's at higher premiums.

I like the way this is headed and has held up pretty well to the volatility lately.

It is going to make a decision in the next month or so would be my guess. 'When' it does it has 2.03 refuel then 2.35 and 2.65 bus stops to get through.

My previous cost avg on CLOV was 13.75, but I sold some when it climbed back last time at 10.75. Because I had averaged down, it placed that sale in wash rule so now my avg cost is $14.40. Lol

So I have a ways to go for profitability. I am in the camp it eventually gets there, maybe into the 20s. But it will take a while.

I have been staying patient because I felt all along that once we got past the lawsuit Apr 6 deadline, and positive news would release it wouldn't be buried by crap. Also, the next earning report is in May I believe so I expect a little run up, albeit probably nowhere near my cost basis. Probably somewhere later this year, when the earnings show continued consistent growth abs acceptance there will be a run that sends it up above $16-17 again, and then eventually into the $20s

Just give me 3 buck gapper in May and I'll ride off with a 160K plus profit.

So funny story this morning about VEON. Someone canceled their sell at .20 and the ask popped to 10 bucks. It was showing 5 bucks as mark on the June 2c.

I looked up and saw my P/L for the Day over a Million bucks. I quickly started scrolling and found VEON and knew instantly it was not real.

Sigh....
