Serious answer: what do you think the short, medium, and long term upside is? What do you think the short, medium, and long term downside is? If you try to put numbers for each of those then you can pick out the share price MARA would need to be at to where your upside is 2x your downside risk. That would be my buy prices for short, medium, or long term trades.

FWIW I am not using margin at the moment although a margin account.


I got the same message and am not currently using margin in my margin account either.

I don't know that I've gotten messages when they have increased margin %, but they regularly change mine, especially on higher beta and small cap stocks.

Exited ASAN for small loss, minus a few runners. Daily volume drying up and any step back is going to be a huge hit to premium. Not much recovery time.

The longer this stays close to ITM, the less theta decay we will experience. At this point, I would look for a dip to $32 and then potential for continuation.

What did you do for the vertical on this?
I sold the 4/16 37.5 calls against the full lot of long calls. so my basis in the options is $1 and right now the options are valued around $0.65. I sold the short calls for $0.30, which effectively lowers my basis to $0.70. If ASAN loses steam from here I'll have positive theta from the short calls to offset continuing to hold. if ASAN rallies from here, great.

Did not realize you could buy SPY Puts till 3:15 / assumed cut-off was 4:00pm EST. Now I own a few 406 Spy Puts. Thanks.
