Being Asked Why Rates are Doing Better

We just had two clients come in and ask us why rates are doing better this morning.... Here is what we told them

Thoughts are three fold... Short covering from the large treasury short.... Beginning of a new quarter where there are very good inflows into credit... And third, the Biden infrastructure, while large and inflationary, comes with very large tax increases, which is a slow down to the economy that people are missing... We still think rates start to rise again as we get closer to the refunding... And the ISM numbers today show very high inflationary pipeline indications

With all the talk of services, has anyone subscribed to Christian Fromhertz and his Tribeca Trading Group service? He seems like a Redler type guy, no hype, just solid info and lots of it.

I haven't but have followed him on Twitter awhile. My longest services I enjoyed and used have been Redler and TraderStewie's which is fun but lacked some risk management and depth.

For those who follow Redler, does he hedge? Or just use tight stops around the 8/21 day along with taking profits along the way. I don't ever see him mentioning hedges but I only ever watch the free 6:30 video.

Saw that they filed a motion to terminate the custodianship (Custodian Ventures) which is causing some folks to believe there may be a reverse merger lining up in short order.

Redler hedges with some options. He shares his positions occasionally and you can see his options usually more on the right side of the screen.

He hedges. Shorts SPY and Qs, puts, cash, trims, etc.
