Not a horrible close, but I wanted 13000 today. I hope today was the final flush.

100,000+ crossed this month so far.

I heard it on Hannity a few minutes ago so he may post it later.
I don't really view Hannity as credible (I think of him as more of an entertainer). I am not surprised and really can't blame the crossers - look what they're dealing with. I wish we had a better way of dealing with this problem - including leaning hard on Mexico.
I support legal immigration, not illegals crossing the border and my property taxes going up because we have to educate the kids, healthcare and housing. We have plenty of poor Americans, we shouldn't be importing more.

POC Americans will bear the brunt of these polices as well.

I spent time this morning calculating sell/buy break evens and rolling the balance. In Mara at $3.75 and completely covered at $30 thru next January.

Sold 1/3 outright and bought those calls back with decent credit. Took that credit and the remaining contracts, rolled them in to Sept 2020 at a higher strike. Used all of my credit. Now I am essentially in the same trade with an additional $28k upside.

here in lies the problem. It isn't the Hispanics coming in, wish they would do it documented, but the movement of labor is good. The issue is these people are willing and able to work hard for just more than nothing. Completely ignores the unemployment domestically. Because Americans are not willing to do those tough manual labor jobs.

I don't believe this argument at all.

However, increasing of property taxes to pay to educate their kids is real and unwarranted. They also have access to welfare and other public programs with each baby they have on American soil.

Their contribution to the labor market is dwarfed by the burden on taxpayers.

With all due respect that applies in large majority IMO to the unmotivated in America.

My son, an Aggie class of 17', started a cabin landscaping/maintenance business on the side. This after working 12 hour shifts in law enforcement that never end at 12 hours a day. He is reaching for the American dream by building a business that requires basically 7 days a week, his blood, sweat and effort to build. He doesn't get or take handouts and his 'career' pays woefully void for a Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M, thus becoming an entrepreneur to achieve his own dreams.

He has more than tripled his business in 12 months. It can be done. With effort. If not there is always the government handouts.

which is why I said documented. Open the door, but make sure each and everyone is counted and registered. Right now the door is closed so they sneak in the back, cause the issues you mentioned.

The US and Mexico used to have a robust guest worker program. Not sure what happened.

100% agree, that is my point. The unemployed, those at the bottom willing to stay unemployed, have no motivation.

i would hope you first have to take 60% pay cut, so not as cut and dried. Again, open the door in effort to encourage documentation.

They keep coming undocumented because there is obviously demand for the low cost labor.

Americans would be, if the Dems weren't trotting out welfare programs that pay the equivalent of 60K a year, along with a very loose welfare system that allows for significant fraud.

Australia and New Zealand would have already sent many folks back where they came from.

Know this was meant in jest, but anyone even considering the path of being a full-time trader needs to have at least two years of living expenses saved up outside of your trading account. Even then you're playing with fire

$UAL may be one to watch. It is currently back above the 10 dma. It could continue trend and complete a cup back up to the 63-64 area.

UAL, DAL, and BA all look nice to me to resume their upward channel. I'm watching earnings, though. I don't expect those to be great still and could pull them back down. So for me it's a bit of balancing act not getting too short term and shed premium if we have a down day and not going too long term and potentially ride these back down after earnings. I added some ITM May calls that I will target selling next month. I've also got LEAPS for most of these airlines still.
