That would make their profit negative... but not revenue.

Question for anyone with IBKR.

I've got the /ES ticker set up, but it won't chart it. Says 'No data of type daychart is available for the exchange 'globex' and the security type index and 1d and 5 mins.

Seems tied to parameters I have on the chart. But even when I uncheck those, it still won't display.

ShadowTrader posted short video re: INVU
BTC play
interesting take

(I own zero shares of INVU)
just got home from work
INVU shot up 130%
hope somebody got in on it - I didn't lol

Nope, saw your post but decided I had enough BTC type plays, so of course this is one that took off today

I don't blame ya.. I'm in the same boat.
I gonna watch it tho.. maybe get a clean entry on a dip.
that video shadowtrader made seems legit to me.
I've never seen him tout a stock like this before.

On a more serious note any one in KO? Seems to have broken out this past week and continuing today.

If you go back to the start of March, it looks like the vaunted motorboat pattern is completing with a move up.

Was eyeing this over the last two weeks waiting for a dip.

man what a let down Coming 2 America was (the new one). Rewatched the first one the other day though, so great.
Just getting caught up today and thanks for ruining my hope. The wife and I had talked about watching it soon. She hasn't seen the first one, so maybe she'll still enjoy it without the expectations based on the original.

I'd still say watch it if you were huge fans of the first one, but don't expect the same feel and number of laughs. My wife and I watched it last night and went into it as open minded as possible. It wasn't awful, but not great either.

at least with the 2nd movie on Prime, you can now watch the original on prime as well

Scalped QQQ for $1 today. If AAPL closing 120-121 this Thursday pays my condors. I got those to hedge my calls and bull call spreads for 4/16 and May. I plan to keep playing condors with AAPL weekly. If the run I'm hoping for doesn't materialize I'm hoping these weekly condors will pay back my call premiums that will go to $0.

None of my TSLA credit spreads or flies filled on Friday, which is disappointing because those would be looking really good right now.

I thought it was okay, though that may be more of an indictment on the crap I'm watching as entertainment these days. I wasn't expecting too much as far as plot goes.

What's the usual time frame for a company to go through the application process on being uplisted?
The Canadian graphite mining/processing company I brought up before NMGRF is doing a reverse split and filed it application to be listed in the NYSE and I'm curious the lead time on that usually getting approved

LIZI

I will be watching this one for flashes below $7.
MT is about $11.15ish (using 3/16 & 3/29) and may be a good trade back to that level +.Has been a prior resistance/support level.
Could be a net free shares play.
Has tested the 100 EMA multiple times and holding.
Large volume still in it (reference goal posts)
Ideally for me a recapture of the 5 EMA and I will take a stab at it.

I would be entering shares and sell near date (April or May) covered calls against half to 3/4 of them (they are juiced).

$ASO releases earnings

EPS for the quarter was $1.09 compared to $0.24 per chare prior year same quarter. Expectations were $0.52 per share

48% of the float was short so hoping for a massive squeeze. Stock up 8% in pre-market.

From the release:
Fourth Quarter 2020 Results
Net sales increased 16.6% to a record $1.60 billion. Comparable sales increased 16.1%, driven by strong consumer demand across all markets and merchandise divisions, particularly Sports & Recreation. E-commerce sales grew 60.7%, led by an increase in website visits and the continued consumer adoption of new fulfillment methods, such as buy online, pick-up in-store, ship-to-store and curbside pick-up.
Gross profit increased 34.7% to $499.1 million. The gross margin rate increased 420 basis points to 31.2%. This increase was driven by higher merchandise margins, fewer promotions and a reduction in clearance sales.
Net income was $91.5 million, a 416.0% increase over $17.7 million in the prior year quarter, resulting in diluted earnings per share of $0.97, compared to $0.24 per share in the prior year quarter. Pro forma adjusted net income, which excludes the impact of certain non-cash and extraordinary items, was $103.1 million, a 485.8% increase over pro forma adjusted net income of $17.6 million in the prior year quarter. Pro forma diluted earnings per share were $1.09, compared to $0.23 per share in the prior year quarter.

somehow virtually none of the miners are tracking BTC anymore. Even RIOT is barely over $51 when BTC breaks $59k.

Like others have mentioned, I think it's because they track both BTC and Tech. So it's gotta be 2/2 for them to ride in sync. Definitely frustrating though...

Treasuries Becoming "Unanchored" as Belly Hits Record High Yields...5s /7s/10s

We would have thought that the Archegos meltdown, which BB is calling the worst since the Long Term Capital Crisis, would have given treasuries a bid, especially in the face of quarter end reallocations... But treasuries have soared in yield... Overnight we saw a 20000 seller of treasury futures in a three minute window, during Asian time, which sent 10 years above 1.77 and 5 years to .95..This steepened the 2/10 curve to the widest level in over 5 years. Both record high yields for 5/10 s over the last year...the belly of the curve is where the brunt of selling is taking place... It started yesterday when the 10 year first went as low as 1.635 on the unwind and fear of additional Archegos unwinds or other hedge funds, but 10 years soared in yield as it became evident that Biden is going to push another stimulus bill... To be honest we are not sure if it is another stimulus bill within the infrastructure bill or two distinct bills... But stimulus is coming in a rapid fashion... Our view of 2% 10 years in the second quarter has not changed... Biden will outline the bill tomorrow in Pittsburgh, we expect more clarity...but Axios is talking this morning about a personal tax rate of 39.6 % top individual rate...we do not know how far the MMT crowd is going to take the fiscal deficit higher.

The Archegos story is starting to show up in more dealers, where Credit Suisse tried to get the parties involved last week to make some type of standstill agreement... That failed and everyone grabbed collateral and sold... Credit Suisse and Nomura are rumored to have multi billion dollar losses... Others like GS, seem unscathed... We will have to see who else is involved and we know a multiyear SEC investigation is coming...

Where are rates going in the short term?...if equities stay within a range and the Nasdaq and Russell do not get burnt from the rising treasury yields, then 1.875 and then 1.95 to 2% should be seen within the next few weeks for 10 years... Heck, given the moves since yesterday morning and the Biden spending spree, it could be the next few days. But 1.875 and then 2%... We have not thought above 2.25 or 2.50 just yet.... Seems the Fed is on the sidelines and the Vigilantes are driving the bus. Clearly treasury longs that had been built up in trying to front run quarter end reallocations into treasuries and corporates got smoked... And that was part of the liquidation late yesterday.

Expect liquidity to be low for Thursday and especially Friday, for rates and credit. With equities closed on Friday, the ability to hedge credit risk or rates risk via ETFs will not be available...one report we read details how when the government bond market is open on Good Friday with the equity market closed, liquidity drops 90%
