Will normal investors even have that opportunity?
Not sure how many of you have flown - airport was jam packed both ways, full flights, lots of hustle and bustle.

We traveled in January and it was still pretty much dead at IAH but ORD was much more crowded on the way back. Glad to hear it's starting to pick up much quicker now
The one change I have made to my routine is boarding dead last on the plane. I didn't see how full coach was. First full both ways and lots of people boarded

I feel very safe in those crowded airports and airplanes because everyone is required to wear a mask - and masks are effective at reducing the spread of Covid and protecting me from you and you from me. 15 months to slow the spread.

It's definitely picked up around spring break. Will be curious to see if it sustains next month.
With the rest of the stimulus checks hitting by mail and increased vaccinations, people will either travel or plan to travel this summer. Have also seen back to office orders for June 1, thinking early summer will be peak

I didn't post on here yesterday about my few trades but they focused on China.
I bought NIO 4/16 35s when it was in the low 34s. I'm up 22% but there is a lot of runway here.
BIDU shares were purchased with reckless abandon.
Yes, I believe China plays this week and next few weeks are probably the hot ticket.
On a side note, I'm in the midst of a large career transition so I'm probably going to be absent during the day most of the next few weeks, but my plan is to show up in the evening when I can.

I agree. And not just airlines. My wife and I own a couple of rental condos in Destin and they are booked almost completely for the summer already. Much of the travel industry may boom as people try to make up for the last year.BenRev09 said:

Lotto expirations were fun yesterday.
Started out with the NIO 37s and bought at .16 and sold at .33. Rolled up profits and played it again when it dipped late morning and then gave it all back.
SPY expiration lottos were fun too. Took out 388 puts and 395 calls when it was around 392. When we breached 393.60 and held, I dumped puts and rode the calls. Net gain was 80%.

This. There's upside but there's several sectors that have much more. I'm hedged out of my backside on infrastructure plays and when we find out if we are going to throw 3T into a bonfire or not, those stocks will pick a side and I'll ride.

Houston to Florida and back this week. IAH was pretty empty but DFW was slammed for the connect. planes had decent occupancy
Good to hear US domestic travel is coming back. Sadly I think international is still a ways off from coming back. Picked someone up at LHR last week and it was a ghost town. The person I picked up was on a BA flight from DFW and said it was about 25% full but surprisingly lots of families with young children

Yes. I think it's 10 days now from countries not on the red list. But still requires 2 negative tests on day 2 and 8 I think. Red list countries like Brazil, South Africa and 20 something others are 14 days hotel quarantine self paid at 1750 pounds or so. Wild stuff.

He was granted custody over a month ago. This, from what I've read, is the next step to ensure EGOC won't have some entity or individual surprise them with a claim after the merger. It allows both egoc and the merging entity peace of mind moving forward that nothing will be hanging over their heads.

Having a hard time with the concept of "net free and chill"?
I just want them to become the best "chill" of my life
What is so hard about it? I work very hard to get net free and let them ride. Sometimes they go up to great values and I might harvest a few and some go down. I don't care because I don't worry about it because they were paid for by house money. My philosophy is to let it ride no matter the loss because if you accumulate multiple net free positions one or two will take off and make your day.NRD09 said:
