Those hs on QQQ look forced. I just bought a few calls here for hopefully a quick scalp. Need green volume to continue though.

And I'm out for 2.5% profit. Volume dried up so I'm not hanging around to see what it does.
Yup. for those of us who are still in the 'need action phase' days like today are good to 'get a dog' or just play in paper trades to get it out of the system.

Question for you more experienced guys...
when we see a consistent downturn in certain new small cap profile stocks like WWR, CLOV, DPW, FUBO etc....is their common timeline or expectation to see them return to former positions (outside of last years mad upward rush)?
6 months? a year? 2 years? I know it depends on whether we are bear or bull and what segments have rotated in, but just kind of curious about expectations from people who have been doing this a long time.
I know 8-10% annual ROI used to be considered good. But I am curious if these stocks that have fallen 50+% from their ATHs typically return to those spots inside a year....

I'm actually proud of myself for watching the volume on what I was interpreting as a potential reversal on QQQ. It started giving me the middle finger volume pattern

I wonder if the algo sell-off is just getting the point of taking people's stimulus checks? Feel like we are just getting that out of the way.

The pattern can extend until the end of the week. If you're bullish you'd want continued bouncing between the lines and then breakout next week.

Oh yeah, absolutely possible. Lots of variables moving markets. The overall sentiment of an 'overheated' market, divided market players on national politics, ATHs even make bulls hesitate and the bears pounce. Also, lots of algo selling indicators even to newbs (like me). I see stairsteps on tons of large cap stocks with a follow of smaller stuff.
Everyone is trying to walk sideways with as out around the chairs anxious for the music to stop. Lots of questioning, lots of hesitation, lots of programmers.

For those in WWR, thoughts on MP? Two massive red days in a row. We are sitting at 50% retracement from the Oct-Mar up move. I'm planning on buying a bit if we get down to $29. If we show a reversal I may also get in.
