Does the summer surge effect all airlines equally or is there a way to better pick winners and losers and avoid the ETF? Will the domestic airlines that are already at or above pre-covid levels show less upside as we "return to normal"? Conversely will opened domestic travel not move the needle enough for the international carriers if travel outside the US is still very restricted (either due to caution or foreign/US government travel mandates)?
This is a good question and certainly one I don't have an answer to.
But I do think the US domestic crews like LUV will have smaller percentage upside when/if the world gets back to pre-COVID travel rates.
The international players will see a large surge.

Last several trading days have been some of the worse price action in months and can't persist much longer. Big tech should come back in favor soon. AAPL bands are tightening and withstood the selling pressure more than it has in weeks.
If we don't see a grip and rip day to kick things off this week then the April 16th options are in jeopardy.

I've been in the ETF in my ROTH for the last 10 months or so, slowly accumulating. I personally havent found a singular airline that I like. I feel that for the most part people chose the best price and time for their travel and are not married to any singular brand unless they have a bunch of points.

I know travel is going up and I should have gotten some of that a few weeks ago but I am concerned its too late to enter, banking seems riskier with the new FED moves, what about REITs?

Bitcoin should continue to trend sideways or slightly down the rest of the week, expect things to move back up over the weekend and into next week.

Sold a little of CIDM. Trimmed some losing trades. Moving more money into VEON. I like this as a value play and it's been resilient. There's a reason we saw big money start rotating into value stocks.
