Had a message from someone who had sold a $12.50 IMMR put for a naked put position. They had received $1.80 in premium so that nets out close to current price but they didn't want the shares assigned. They didn't know about rolling out a naked put. You simply move it out and buy more time for the stock to rebound. I suggested the $12.50 August for $3.90 premium.

Just might book double premium on it. Frankly, it should.

I'm a civil engineer. Recent construction bids we are seeing on designs I either signed/sealed or assisted are coming in 30%-50% higher than last year already. A part of that is always a contractor trying to make more money. Most of it, however, is cost of supplies and manpower.

It's so bad, the TxDOT unit prices we get to do our cost estimates for clients aren't accurate for a few of our major bid items now. Certainly not TxDOT's fault, but something we have noticed and are much more careful on our estimates.

Yes however a few thoughts...
We were in Tyler Texas.... Not a spring break destination. And the 2 hotels right next to each other were full.
Many expected people to ease back into things. Nope... Jumped in travelling as if it were a normal spring break and pandemic never happened.
Masks were non existent at restaurant. Not even people walking in and out! Signals people are just tired of it all and will revert back to normal faster
Houston traffic the last couple weeks has increased considerably with rush hour being a headache again.

When other populous states like commiefornia tell people it's okay to no longer be afraid of their shadow it's going do the same there

I agree. I have been a lot of places during this crap and people are definitely getting out moreand more. Hell, I was in the Louisiana casinos the past two weekends and they were packed. Lines to get in were 20 deep at the Nugget and LDL

bears seem to be very hard at work to keep things down. SPY seems to be holding at 391ish but isnt moving much

What are some good basic strategies to still find profit in bear periods? I know some people say they actually can make more money in bear market

This week, if we end up testing downward I'm looking for SPX 3850. Hold there and I think we're up to 4200 in the near future. Break 3850 downward with momentum and I think we need to find a new low before we see 4200 on an slightly extended timeline.

Trying like hell to scalp an SPX pullback here, but damn thing is consolidating like a ping pong match.

Looks like a bear is crapping in the woods.

Looks to be trying to confirm a reversal from a nearly month long downtrend and the call volume on the April 7.5s is up there today
I got into the 7.5s a little early last week but good to see another strong day for hopeful breakout from downward channel and breaking above the 8/21/50 MAs

BLNK keeps taking these little surges pushing $41 then falling back into low 39s. I cant find any news on them but wondering what may be creating that upward pressure.
