I am in the camp that rising oil prices are a good indicator of a weakening dollar (especially if demand for oil is falling, conversion of dollars to other currencies after the oil is bought) I.e. it takes more dollars to by the same barrel of oil.
I could see oil demand helping to put a floor under the dollar but I couldn't see it overriding other inflationary factors indicating a weakening dollar (money printing, poor fiscal policy, weaken demand for American products and services)

If we go back up and fail 397.25 that's when I will go heavy. I carried over 3/26 puts from the close yesterday and will sell those on a reversal at 393.3 if we drop to that and bounce.KT_Ag08 said:
