I took out some LVS 3/19 70s.
Sitting at .75 mark right now.

Riding it out as well. BUUUUTTT...I did buy a $40p about an hour ago. My earnings plays have been bad on good news so far this season so I'm thinking at least some of this gap up gets reclaimed by tomorrow morning before it runs a bit post earnings. My hope is to catch a quick $1 between now and 0900 tomorrow then it runs up over a couple of weeks. Good luck...Prognightmare said:They reaffirmed earnings 3 weeks ago. I was tempted to sell some April $7.50 puts this morning because the chart looks good IMO, but I'm a little cash strapped right now so I didn't. Good basing around 7.50 the last week.
So is there a play to make on the eventual downturn of RKT. I feel like in at least does Model T back down especially after the dividend cutoff. Or are the put premiums already too high.

I'd wait until next week to decide on any puts. This has some steam and could see the 40s before the end of the week.

My Merrill account where I HAD the RKT calls always shows the item in my holdings through the end of the day even though I sold it already (it does this all the time for some reason).leoj said:

I didn't play RKT with you guys and was the only call I think I didn't play from OA yesterday. Congrats to all of you for a great win and don't fret on leaving money on the table..
I learned this lesson a while back on an OA call. I sold waaaaaay to early on JPM calls (200% up) plus a few others to name a few. This is where scaling out or going net fee can really pay off. With 2 1/2 weeks to go on them taking most off the board with 100, 200 or more % up but leaving a few runners can make a huge difference. It sure helps offset when another play doesn't go as planned.
Just a few thoughts to consider next round.

I had sold the last of my CIDM at 1.45 and was waiting to re-enter. It just triggered an alert for me at $1.30, crossed under the -1ATR (-2/100 EMA at 1.16) so this might be worth throwing on your watchlist over the next few days. just FYI

A great example of why you spread your risk/reward both within an option trade and throughout all option trades.
I generally have "X" amount of dollars into options. If that works out to 500 calls on around $1 call price or 100 on $5 call price. That's how I operate. At 83.7% success average the winners absolutely crush the losers. And occasionally we get a runner that we can feather sells all day long (Or like that one ROKU trade where we woke up at 500%+) to really juice the strategy.

There are tons of buyers, but whoever is selling that $1.19 level has a vested interest in this not moving today. It's crazy how many shares traded between 1.18 and 1.19mazag08 said:

Amazingly enough, the 10day MA is 1.18-1.19.......the trade starts at the 10-day. This could be after hours delight.
Seriously, it's almost like one person is sitting on 1.19 to sell, and one at 1.18 to buy. It's almost like it's coordinated so that the buyer can load up, and the seller can take a huge short position at this level. Hell if I know. lol
