Yep. I'm the oldest and my bro and sis are '87 and '89... we are nothing alike other than our love for SEC football

I know some of y'all are going to laugh but I'd be perfectly happy disappearing into the mountains. I would have a few time periods I would have loved to experience.

We live in a really numb and dumbed down world today where discussion and thought are laughed at by the common Joe.

I'm '89 and I'm with you on pretty much everything. We aren't all hopeless. Part of my goal here is to allow my wife and I to retire a little early in a mountain home somewhere and disappear and not have to deal with all the bull**** any longer than we have to.

As you get older you get wiser. Glad you're ahead of the curve.

I read an article the other day that was "sounding the alarm" on the older half of millennials. Basically, this Leftist author was alarmed about a survey showing the early 30s and up crowd is turning more conservative.

I laughed, because, no ****, the older you get the wiser you become. The oldest millennials are hitting prime earnings age.

We do have a unique view of the world because of our age. I didn't have a cell phone until I was halfway thru college and didn't have a smart phone until 28.

I wish social media and smart phones would die a quick death.

It would suck to be a kid now. Everything is video recorded. That's literally the worst thing.

Wait until everything is Face ID. A little pro tip - anything you see in a smart phone will eventually show up ubiquitously in some sort of grotesque surveillance society way.

Wait until the police robots greet you by name and you don't need to carry an ID - because everyone already has it.

We just did a work conference in Vegas though and they're offering stupid cheap deals right now. It was $40 per night and the big conference room was free I'd we bought food from them. Pretty wild seeing the airport so empty.
